The Baltimore Orioles are one of baseball’s best teams in bouncing back from a loss, as they continue their three-game series with the Detroit Tigers Tuesday night.

Let’s take a closer look at the MLB odds for this American League matchup at Comerica Park, with the first pitch scheduled for 7:08 p.m. ET.

Check out our Tuesday Morning MLB Odds & Betting Lines Report.

Shut down

Baltimore has alternated wins and losses over its last four games, as it suffered a 5-1 defeat to Detroit as +170 road underdogs Monday, while going UNDER the betting total of 8.5.

The Orioles are 39-12 in their last 51 games following a loss, while they’ve fallen short of the total in nine of their last 10 games versus right-handed starters.

Cabrera hammers the Birds at home

Detroit entered this series leading the league in averaging 5.72 runs per game at home, with the lineup hitting .302 and possessing a .370 on-base percentage in that situation.

Third baseman Miguel Cabrera has absolutely hammered Orioles pitching in the Motor City, as he’s batting .481 with 25 RBIs in 21 meetings at this ballpark.

The Tigers are 29-11 in their last 40 home games versus teams with a winning road record.

Orioles starting pitcher Zach Britton (0-1, 9.00 ERA) will make his second start of the season, as he was handed a 6-2 road loss to the Seattle Mariners on April 29, allowing six runs and 10 hits over six frames.

The left-hander is 8-9 with a 6.11 ERA in 22 career games (21 starts) on the road, with opposing hitters batting .312 against him.

In two career outings versus the Tigers, Britton has tallied a perfect 2-0 record and 3.75 ERA.

Tigers starting pitcher Justin Verlander (8-4, 3.41 ERA) earned a no-decision in a 3-2 road loss to the Kansas City Royals last time out, as he allowed three hits over seven shutout innings.

The right-hander is 3-2 with a 3.12 ERA in six home outings, surrendering just a single home run in 40.1 combined frames.

In 12 career games versus the Orioles, Verlander has compiled a perfect 8-0 record and 2.93 ERA, including a 10-3 road win on June 1.

I’m going to recommend that readers back the Orioles on the run line as one of their MLB picks Tuesday, as they’ve gone 5-1 in Britton’s last six starts versus AL Central foes, while the Tigers are just 7-7 versus left-handed starters.

MLB Pick:  Baltimore Orioles +1.5 (-105)
