Zack Greinke has enjoyed tremendous success at Miller Park in his career, as the Los Angeles Dodgers continue a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers Tuesday night.

Let’s take a closer look at the MLB betting odds for this National League affair, with the first pitch scheduled for 8:10 p.m. ET.

Check out our Tuesday Morning MLB Odds & Betting Lines Report.

Demonstrating some power

Los Angeles ranks 28th in the majors in home runs, but outfielders Andre Ethier and Matt Kemp supplied some power to the lineup Monday, as the team picked up a 3-1 victory over Milwaukee as -113 road favorites.

The Dodgers are 5-3 as road favorites during the 2013 MLB campaign, with the UNDER going 5-2-1 in that situation.

May we move on

Milwaukee dropped to 3-15 in May after last night’s series-opening loss to Los Angeles, as it now occupies last place in the NL Central standings—10.5 games back of the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Brewers are 32-43 during this calendar month the last two-plus seasons, with the OVER going 37-33-5 in those 75 opportunities.

Dodgers starting pitcher Zack Greinke (2-0, 1.62 ERA) picked up a 3-1 home victory over the Washington Nationals in his first start since breaking his right collarbone on May 15 last time out, as he allowed one run and five hits over 5.1 innings of work.

The right-hander has compiled an incredible 15-0 record and 2.89 ERA in 24 career appearances (23 starts) at this ballpark, with most of that success coming in a Brewers uniform in 2011 and 2012.

Brewers starting pitcher Hiram Burgos (1-2, 6.58 ERA) has watched the club drop his last four efforts, including a 7-1 road loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates last time out, as he surrendered three runs and eight hits over five frames.

The rookie right-hander is 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA in two home outings, with opposing hitters batting .205 against him.

Burgos didn’t earn a decision in a 7-5 road defeat to the Dodgers on April 26, as he allowed three runs and four hits over six innings of work.

I’m going to recommend that readers back the Dodgers in the first five innings as one of their MLB picks Tuesday, as they’ve gone 22-15 against the Brewers at this ballpark.

Greinke threw just 83 pitches in his first start back from injury, which could provide Milwaukee some opportunities in the later innings versus a Los Angeles bullpen that has compiled a 5.91 ERA in the last five games.
