Yankees (Pettitte) vs. Orioles (Feldman)

Covered by Willie Bee

Scott Feldman and Andy Pettitte will be pitching in tonight's game in Baltimore. Who do we trust more? On one hand you've got Feldman, who's 8-5 with a 3.62 ERA at home and 4-3 with a 2.84 ERA since the All-Star Break. Then there's Pettitte, who has been marginally better on the road (6-5, 3.50 ERA) than he has at home (4.62 ERA). In two starts against Baltimore he's allowed 16 hits and five earned runs over 12.2 IP.

Willie's ‘Over’ pick in last night's 7-5 New York win was a winner. Tonight, he's looking for another run-scoring display and is on the ‘Over’ 9 at +100.

Red Sox (Dempster) vs. Rays (Cobb)

Covered by Ron Patrick

So Ryan Dempster has been the furthest thing from unhittable this season, but he has at least pitched well against Tampa Bay. He's allowed 10 hits and four runs over 13.0 innings in two starts against the Rays.

Alex Cobb is undefeated at home, sitting at 5-0 with a 2.93 ERA, but he's been hit hard by the Red Sox in 2013 (0-1, 5.29 ERA in three starts). The visiting Red Sox are available at +125 or so in the MLB odds and Ron thinks the best value out there for tonight's AL East affair.

Pirates (Burnett) vs. Rangers (Garza)

Covered by Willie Bee

Pittsburgh has earned two fantastic wins in this series so far and hopes to make it three out of three tonight, when Matt Garza and A.J. Burnett take the bump. Burnett is 3-7 with a 4.30 ERA on the road this year, while Garza has gone 2-0 with a 3.48 ERA in five starts at Rangers Ballpark.

It's certainly tough to go against the Pirates at the juncture, but Burnett's shakiness away from home shouldn't be ignored. You know the Rangers are going to come out with a lot of focus tonight, part of the reason Willie has added the home team on the run-line (listed at +145) to his sports picks for the day.

Cubs (Samardzija) vs. Reds (Leake)

Covered by Ron Patrick

Having already faced the Reds a number of times in 2013, Jeff Samardzija will try to notch his first win against the club this afternoon. In four starts against them he's gone 0-1 with a 4.13 ERA, allowing 11 earned runs over a 24-inning span.

As you know, Cincinnati desperately needs a win right now. There's no way they would have expected to drop the first two games of the series, but Mike Leake's season record against Chicago is encouraging – he's 2-0 with a 2.18 ERA in three outings. Ron will be taking the Reds on the run-line in hopes that they finally get the job done at home against an inferior team.

[gameodds]3/243027/?r-1=19-43-192/us[/gameodds]

Diamondbacks (Corbin) vs. Dodgers (Ryu)

Covered by Joe Freda

The Diamondbacks could be in for another long night up against Hyun-Jin Ryu, who's 7-2 with a 2.07 ERA at Dodger Stadium this season. That being said, the left-hander has had his fair share of troubles with Arizona, surrendering 24 hits and 11 runs in 17.0 IP.

Patrick Corbin will start for the Diamondbacks. He hasn't come anywhere near his first-half exploits, going 2-5 with a 4.33 ERA in nine starts over the second half of the season. Still, Joe thinks getting +115 on Corbin shouldn't be passed up, especially since the Dodgers are 1-4 in their past five games against lefties.

Yankees (Pettitte) vs. Orioles (Feldman)

Covered by Willie Bee

Last night's game went back and forth, but a four-run inning in the eighth made the difference for the Yankees in 7-5 win. Alfonso Soriano belted two more home runs in the victory.

Game three of the series will include Scott Feldman and Andy Pettitte as the hurlers. The Orioles have opened as -125 MLB odds favorites.

Red Sox (Dempster) vs. Rays (Cobb)

Covered by Ron Patrick

Hardly a bad return for Clay Buchholz last night, was it? Let's see if Ryan Dempster can keep the good times rolling for the Red Sox, who now own an 8.5-game lead in the AL East.

The Rays, losers of seven of their last ten, could really use a win here, and oddsmakers do have them as -135 chalk tonight.

Pirates (Burnett) vs. Rangers (Garza)

Covered by Willie Bee

You have to commend Pittsburgh's ability to respond the right way after getting swept in St. Louis. The Pirates have come into Arlington and taken the first two games of this series against the Rangers.

Each of the first two games has been decided by one run and we wouldn't be surprised to see that happen again with two highly capable pitchers on the mound. For now the Rangers are favored at -135.

Cubs (Samardzija) vs. Reds (Leake)

Covered by Ron Patrick

First of all, this is an early game, slated for a 12:35 PM EST start time. The Reds, who have been embarrassed badly in this series so far, will be hoping Mike Leake can carry them to a win today.

Cincinnati has to bounce back sooner rather than later right? They're 47-26 at home and are facing a Cubs team that's 20 games under .500 – you can find the Reds at -175 to get the victory for your MLB picks.

Diamondbacks (Corbin) vs. Dodgers (Ryu)

Covered by Joe Freda

We're really liking this pitching battle. Hyun-Jin Ryu has been stellar at home all season long, while Patrick Corbin is 13-6 with a 2.97 ERA and 1.08 WHIP on the year.

The Dodgers obviously have way more momentum on their side right now and the MLB odds are in their favor for tonight. L.A. is sitting at -135, with Arizona at +130.
