Which MLB picks are we recommending for Friday's full 15-game schedule? Check it all out below.

Rangers (Grimm) vs. Tigers (Fister)

Covered by Willie Bee

You like to have some level of confidence in your starting pitcher whenever picking a side, but that's kind of hard to do for tonight's game at Comerica. We'll have Doug Fister up against Justin Grimm, with the two pitchers sporting a combined ERA of over 10.

That said, we can have a little more faith in Fister, as he's shown he can be more effective overall despite two shaky starts in a row heading to this one. Willie is picking Detroit to win here on the run-line.

Red Sox (Lackey) vs. Athletics (Parker)

Covered by Joe Freda

The Red Sox remain in first place AL East, but they have no room for a letdown to be honest. Tampa Bay, Baltimore, and the New York Yankees are all within striking distance, and Toronto has made somewhat of a recovery as well.

John Lackey, who's 6-6 with a 2.80 ERA and 1.15 WHIP, will aim to out-pitch Jarrod Parker (6-6, 4.04 ERA, 1.24 WHIP) tonight. Joe does in fact think we'll see a scarcity of runs, so he's picking the UNDER 7.5 runs.

Twins (Diamond) vs. Yankees (Kuroda)

Covered by Jeff Grant

One of the highest MLB betting lines of the day features the Yankees as huge -175 favorites over Scott Diamond and the Twins. New York will have the luxury of sending out Hiroki Kuroda, who has gone 5-2 with a 1.89 ERA in nine assignments at home this season.

Jeff is on the same wavelength here, recommending a play on the Yankees despite the significant chalk. Minnesota's offense has been struggling to get going lately, so this sets up nicely for Kuroda and the Bronx Bombers.

Giants (Gaudin) vs. Padres (O'Sullivan)

Covered by Willie Bee

The Giants may have won last night, but it's hard to lose sight of their overall record of 41-50. Considering they started out the season 23-15 at one point, things have really gone downhill for San Francisco.

Perhaps they'll be able to build up some momentum after topping San Diego last night. The Giants also get to go against Sean O'Sullivan in his season and team debut, so we understand why Willie is backing San Francisco at -110 in the MLB odds.

[gameodds]3/238637/?r-1=43-349-192/us[/gameodds]

Mets (Hefner) vs. Pirates (Morton)

Covered by Ron Patrick

We don't expect to see too many runs in this game. Jeremy Hefner has given up a total of eight earned runs over his last 44.0 innings of work, while batters are hitting just .125 against him in the month of July so far.

Pittsburgh will have Charlie Morton on the mound, and he's been solid when given the opportunity to start. However, the Mets have been playing inspired baseball recently, so Ron is feeling good about the price on the underdog at anywhere from +130 to +140.

[gameodds]3/238629/?r-1=43-349-192/us[/gameodds]

White Sox (Danks) vs. Phillies (Pettibone)

Covered by Jeff Grant

John Danks has gone at least seven innings in three consecutive outings, helping his ERA drop from 5.40 to 4.31. He has however gone 0-5 with a dreadful 6.43 ERA in five starts outside of the Windy City this year.

Does that make Jonathan Pettibone and the Phillies the play? Maybe on the money-line, but Jeff is heading on a different path with his sports picks. He'll be adding the UNDER 8 runs to his collection of sports picks for Friday.

Which matchups look most intriguing for our MLB picks?

Rangers (Grimm) vs. Tigers (Fister)

Covered by Willie Bee

This is going to be one heck of a series, though we don't have the best of pitching matchups to start off the set. Doug Fister has been more effective than Justin Grimm, one reason why the Tigers are favored (-175) by so much.

Red Sox (Lackey) vs. Athletics (Parker)

Covered by Joe Freda

The Red Sox won an extremely exciting game at Safeco Field last night. Can they keep the momentum up on this west coast swing in Oakland? John Lackey has been reliable for Boston this season, but the Athletics (-110) get the favorites tag.

Twins (Diamond) vs. Yankees (Kuroda)

Covered by Jeff Grant

The long-awaited return of team captain Derek Jeter came yesterday and he immediately made his mark with an RBI in New York's win over Kansas City yesterday. To start this series off, Hiroki Kuroda and the Yankees are -190 chalk.

Giants (Gaudin) vs. Padres (O'Sullivan)

Covered by Willie Bee

Sean O'Sullivan makes his season debut tonight, while Chad Gaudin hopes he can propel the Giants to a victory. The MLB odds are very tight, but at time of writing San Francisco was listed as a -105 favorite.

Mets (Hefner) vs. Pirates (Morton)

Covered by Ron Patrick

Don't look now, but the Mets have won four in a row and are 7-3 over their last 10, making them just eight games under .500 now. It's going to be tough in Pittsburgh, with the Pirates opening up as -145 favorites at the sportsbooks.

White Sox (Danks) vs. Phillies (Pettibone)

Covered by Jeff Grant

The Phillies are playing much better baseball as of late. Will they be able to jump on John Danks in tonight's game at home? Philadelphia can be backed at a price of -130, while the White Sox have been set as +125 underdogs.
