The Detroit Tigers and Oakland Athletics have scored just six combined runs in the first two games of this series, but things may begin to change Monday afternoon. Where are we looking to place our MLB picks in tonight's Game 3?

Let’s take a closer look at the MLB betting odds for Game 3 of this American League Division Series at Comerica Park, with the first pitch scheduled for 1:07 p.m. ET.

Review the Series Price for the A's vs. Tigers ALDS matchup.

Knotted up

Oakland was able to tied this best-of-five series at a game apiece, as it picked up a 1-0 victory over Detroit as +100 home underdogs last Saturday, while going UNDER the betting total for a second consecutive contest.

The Athletics are 3-8 in their last 11 postseason games—all coming against the Tigers.

It’s important to point out that the club has won its last seven affairs as a road underdog of +110 to +150.

Detroit finished second in the Majors in runs scored, but its powerful offense hasn’t plated a run in 17 consecutive innings.

Third baseman Miguel Cabrera clearly isn’t 100 percent on the field, as he deals with numerous injuries that caused him to miss time during the regular season.

MLB handicappers will want to watch the money line closely leading up to the first pitch, with the Tigers going 41-15 in their last 56 games as home favorites of -151 to -200.

Athletics starting pitcher Jarrod Parker (12-8, 3.97 ERA) alternated wins and losses over his last three starts, as he attempts to bounce back from a 7-5 road defeat to the Seattle Mariners on Sept. 28.

The right-hander was 5-4 with a 3.74 ERA in 14 road appearances, surrendering 18 home runs in 86.2 combined frames.

In four overall starts against the Tigers, Parker has compiled a 0-4 record and 6.65 ERA.

Tigers starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez (14-8, 2.57 ERA) watched the club drop his last two efforts of the regular season, as he didn’t earn a decision in a 2-1 road defeat to the Miami Marlins on Sept. 28.

The right-hander was 8-3 with a 2.70 ERA in 14 home efforts, issuing 25 walks and striking out 110 batters in 93.1 combined frames.

In three career games versus the Athletics, Sanchez has tallied an even 1-1 record and 5.09 ERA.

I’m going to recommend that readers play the total with their MLB Picks, as the OVER is 26-12-2 at Comerica Park when the wind is blowing between 10-20 mph.

The OVER is also a money-making 15-5-1 in the last 21 meetings in this series when played in Detroit.

MLB Pick:  Over 7
