Early games have already started, but there's still a lot of upcoming MLB matchups that we need to examine for tonight.

MLB action is already underway for the day. There are some great early games, including Atlanta/Cincinnati and Philadelphia/San Francisco, the latter of which we're covering.

The Giants, trying to avoid a sweep, are going up against the Phillies with Barry Zito on the mound. Ron Patrick had recommended readers taking the underdog price on Philadelphia, as he doesn't feel Zito's performances have warranted such high chalk.

Let's see what other kind of MLB betting odds value is out there for Wednesday.

Rangers – Brewers

Though neither Derek Holland or Kyle Lohse are true household names, they've both enjoyed fine starts to their 2013 campaigns. Tonight they'll try to out-duel one another, with Milwaukee currently favored at -113.

However, when it comes down to making his final selections, Willie Bee believes the Rangers are the better play. Texas hasn't lost three straight games so far this season and Willie thinks that will hold true as they try to get a series split at 1-1.

Diamondbacks – Dodgers

We've got two different cappers with MLB picks on this game. Joe Catalano likes the UNDER given the pitching talent (Clayton Kershaw and Wade Miley) that'll be on display.

With a different kind of Sports Pick, Ron Patrick is seeing Arizona as the value play here. The Dodgers have been disappointing so far this season and the Diamondbacks have been trending upwards. As such he's backing Arizona at roughly +165 to get the win tonight.

Yankees – Rockies

Joe Freda has examined the MLB odds closely for New York's matchup with Colorado and he's taking the Yankees to win. One thing we know is it'd certainly be surprising if we see another pitcher's duel with Juan Nicasio and David Phelps on the mound.

New York may have lost two in a row, but they're still a solid 6-4 over their last 10 and they're doing an admirable job of staying afloat in the AL East despite the long list of injuries. A win over the NL West leaders would be excellent for morale for Joe Girardi's club.

Twins – Red Sox

The Twins notched an upset win over the Red Sox yesterday, thanks in large part to a fantastic start from Scott Diamond. Can they get another victory tonight with Pedro Hernandez on the bump?

Jeff Grant isn't confident in a play on a side here as there's not much value with the Red Sox favored by such a large margin (-175). So, Jeff has opted to play the OVER 5 runs for the first five innings of play, banking on a poor showing from the starters.

Blue Jays – Rays

A sweep for Toronto? Who would have thought? The Blue Jays have a chance to bring out the brooms tonight against the Rays, but it's certainly not going to be easy against Matt Moore, barring a complete meltdown.

Moore has been in lethal form in 2013 and his start couldn't have come at a better time for this reeling Tampa Bay team. Nonetheless, Willie Bee is bucking the trends and going with Toronto to score a sweep at an attractive price of +172.
