Here's an early look at MLB Overnight Betting Lines for the games taking place on Tuesday, June 28. If you want to beat the chalk and maximize your profits, read on!

Texas Rangers vs. New York Yankees
A lack of betting market respect has been commonplace with the Texas Rangers of late and it appears to be continuing here against the New York Yankees. Texas is 49-27 this season including a 21-15 road record and they have been the far better of these two teams and it’s difficult to argue they should have a pitching advantage here with Cole Hamels against C.C. Sabathia.

Hamels has been exceptional in his last three starts allowing just 2 runs in his last 20.2 innings of work with Texas winning all three of those games. New York has had a tough time offensively against lefties all season long and may have a tough time against the ace of the Rangers rotation. On the flip side, C.C. Sabathia’s magical ride of a season came to a bit of a halt in this last outing at home against Colorado allowing 6 runs on 7 hits in 4.1 innings and he left that game with an ankle injury.

The Yankees have said he is good to go for this start but I’m left to wonder if maybe that rough outing is the beginning of a tailspin for an aging Sabathia who is likely to feel the effects of a long season and the innings piling up on him as he gets into the latter stages of his career and now must also try to shake off a minor ankle injury too in this game.

This should be a good matchup for Texas who have mashed lefties and rank 4th in the Majors in team OPS against southpaws this season. I like Texas to get the victory and cash this MLB Picks here laying a very cheap price to support one of the hottest teams in baseball.

Baltimore Orioles vs. San Diego Padres
This is the same pitching matchup that we saw between these teams last week when they played at Camden Yards but this time we get the Petco Park discount with the total for this rematch between Ubaldo Jimenez and Erik Johnson--two struggling arms in this game between the Orioles and Padres.

Jimenez has been flat out awful most of the season but especially on the road where he has surrendered an abysmal 24 runs on 31 hits in 18.2 innings and San Diego’s lineup should benefit from facing him for the second time in less than a week which should result in a very good approach at the plate for them.

On the flip side, Erik Johnson has yet to notch any sort of good outing this season and in 3 starts as a member of the San Diego Padres, he’s allowed 16 runs on 25 hits in 14.2 innings of work including a rough outing against Baltimore last week at Camden Yards yielding 6 runs on 9 hits in 4 innings of work.

San Diego is 7-3 to the Over in their last 10 games as well as 7-1-1 to the Over in their last 9 Interleague games and Baltimore is 7-1 to the Over posted by MLB Odds in the last 8 starts for Ubaldo Jimenez. I expect this game to feature runs in bunches with very suspect pitching on both sides.
