Join in as we take a look at MLB Overnight Betting Lines for the games taking place on Friday, and make some extra cash with our two early line MLB picks.

San Diego Padres vs. Cincinnati Reds
We’ve noted how much better San Diego fares against lefty pitching in the past and that should set up the Padres for success at the plate here against Cincinnati lefty Cody Reed who allowed 4 runs in 7 innings of his first start against Houston but he allowed 2 homers in that game which may be a problem in this game as he makes his first start at Great American Ballpark where home runs are a routine sight.

Colin Rea will take the mound for San Diego and he’s had a very lackluster campaign entering this outing with a 5.06 road ERA and has allowed at least 3 runs in 6 of his last 7 starts and the Over is 6-2 in San Diego’s last 8 games with Rea on the mound as well as 6-1 to the Over in their last 7 games overall. For one of my MLB Picks, I expect this game to be high scoring as well and end up flying Over the total offered by MLB Odds.

Houston Astros vs. Kansas City Royals
Dallas Keuchel continues to have a tough time pitching on the road which has been an ongoing theme throughout his Major League career. Keuchel heads into this game with a 5.91 ERA on the road this season and he took the loss to this Kansas City team in his lone start at Kauffman Stadium against them last season allowing 5 runs on 10 hits in just 6 innings of work.

Houston is just 5-10 with Keuchel on the mound this season including a 3-6 record on the road which is stunning considering he was a Cy Young winner just a season ago. Kansas City has gotten solid performances most of the season but especially here at home from Edinson Volquez who has an impressive 2.61 ERA in this ballpark along with a strong 1 walks to 48 strikeouts ratio in over 55 innings at home and the Royals have a very good 7-2 record in Volquez’s 9 home starts this season.

Kansas City is a home underdog and I’m not sure that is warranted. The Royals have a tremendous 25-8 home record in contrast to the Astros 15-21 record on the road. Wrong team favored on Friday night.
