MLB Odds for Diamondbacks-Dodgers Skewed by Recent History: Bet Over 7.5 Totals Runs

For Monday’s best value MLB pick on the run total odds, I am focusing on the match in LA, between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Dodgers with Bolsinger on the home mound.

Diamondbacks vs. Dodgers Betting Preview
MLB odds makers have this line at 7.5 at most sports books.  At Heritage Sports Book they have the best odds available when this came out at +110.  I don’t think this line is going to move much so at plus money it is good value.

Charles also recommends betting Padres +135 vs. Braves

Pitchers
Rubby De La Rosa comes in after a really tough outing with a 5.09 ERA and 1.22 WHIP.  He is a good strike-out pitcher but he does give up his share of runs from time to time.  He has already faced the Dodgers once this season and gave up five earned in five innings.  Mike Bolsinger for the Dodgers is also coming off a tough start in Colorado giving up four earned in five innings, but that is very tough place to pitch.  He comes in with a 1.98 ERA and 1.07 WHIP, but his career ERA is a bit over 4.00.

Odds Make a Little Sense
This line is still surprising.  Both Dodgers and the Dbacks are two of the best offense in the league.  But in last couple games both teams have struggled at the plate just bit.  The Dbacks have only scored five runs in their last two and the Dodgers only four.  So even with their strong offenses this line makes some sense.

Place your MLB picks looking for both these teams to break out today though against a pitcher that has given up runs consistently and a pitcher whose numbers are bit inflated this early in the season.
