After losing yesterday to the Dodgers, Nationals look to get back on track today in game two of their NL division series. MLB Odds have Los Angeles as road favorite but will Washington be able to bounce back and provide some value?

Los Angeles Dodgers

Rich Hill gets the start for Los Angeles and comes in with a 2.12 ERA and 1.00 whip. His resurgence has been one of the better stories this season and it will be interesting to see how Dave Roberts uses him in this spot as far as innings are concerned. He has been really consistent this season but in his last three starts he's been touched up a little bit allowing seven earned runs in 15 innings off of 16 hits. Much like yesterday going against him is not easy but I believe there is some value in doing so considering the ability of his counterpart. As well, I think it will only help the Nationals to see a left-hander starting once again, at least from a lineup perspective. Yesterday, the Dodgers won with two big home runs from Seager and Turner along with eight hits for four runs total. They had some good quality at-bats early in the game but then got shut out from the fourth to ninth inning.

Washington Nationals

Tanner Roark takes the mound for Washington and comes in with a 2.83 ERA and 1.17 whip along with a 2.72 ERA at home. He is probably having the quietest very good seasons as far as pitchers this year and considering he has not been talked about very much. Looking at his numbers though he has the capability of coming in and putting up a lot of zeros and I imagine he will do just that. Since the All-Star break he has had only a couple tough outings but for the most part has been extremely steady allowing just 21 earned runs since the beginning of August spanning 12 starts. He only had one chance to face Los Angeles this season which was in Dodger Stadium where he was decent allowing just three earned runs off of six hits in just over seven innings of work. At the plate yesterday Washington had their chances (1-10 with RISP) to win the game but what I like is the fact is a battled back from a 4-0 deficit and out hit the Dodgers 9-8. I'm a little bit surprised that they are the underdog in this spot but I will take the value.

L.A. Dodgers vs Washington Nationals

Odds makers have Washington as a small underdog across the board. There is some pretty good value grabbing them at home with the best sports books at SBR. For my MLB pick I'm going to take them at +112 at Heritage sports.
