Our MLB betting expert shares his top two money line underdogs for Friday. Go inside to read this revealing betting preview article which is loaded with pertinent information.

Rockies (Chatwood) vs Mets (Matz)
Tyler Chatwood has struggled mightily at Coors Field this year. However, he’s been a polar opposite on the road. Chatwood is an extremely profitable 7-1 in his away team starts and compiled an excellent 1.30 ERA during those outings. He’s made one start versus the Mets this season and allowed 3 earned runs on 6 hits during a 4-3 Colorado home win.

Colorado enters today having gone 7-1 over its last eight games, and they’ve also won five of their previous six on the road. Their pitching has been superb through the course of those aforementioned eight games, evidenced by them allowing 3 runs or less in seven of those appearances.

Steven Matz is 1-4 in his last five team starts at home. Despite his respectable 3.77 ERA through the course of that time, Matz has been victimized by a lack of run support. That doesn’t figure to change much tonight, considering the Mets are averaging 2.5 runs scored per game duration their preceding ten contests.

With all things being considered, I’m going with the sizable money line road underdog for one of my Friday MLB picks.

A’s (Gravemen) vs Indians (Bauer)
You’ll probably be very surprised to know, Kendall Gravemen is a perfect 8-0 in his last eight team starts with a stellar 2.70 ERA. Gravemen is coming off a complete game 4-3 win against Tampa Bay in his last start. The A’s bullpen has been lights out over the course of their last seven games, verified by an imposing staff WHIP of 1.71.

Oakland is playing very good baseball at the moment, going 5-1 in its prior six, and 9-4 over their previous thirteen games. Oakland is 9-3 on the road this season after winning two of their last three games. The A’s are also an impressive 10-6 during their preceding sixteen away games.

Indians hurler Trevor Bauer has exhibited poor form over his last three starts, shown by a large 7.47 ERA and 1.85 during that time period.

Cleveland has cooled considerably since embarking on a recent 14-game winning streak. They’re just 8-12 in their last twenty, and that includes dropping four of its last five games. Oakland’s Kendall Gravemen has issued an average of 1.74 walks per start in 2016. That’s noteworthy, considering Cleveland is a dreary 9-16 this year when facing a pitcher averaging 1.75 or fewer walks per start.
