Once again we're honing in on three baseball games for Wednesday. There are some top-tier pitchers in action tonight, including Clayton Kershaw and David Price, both of whom are involved in our selections. Let's get to the report.

New York Yankees (Greene) vs. Detroit Tigers (Price)
Covered by Ross Benjamin
The Yankees' winning streak came to an end last night, as Detroit got the job done in the series opener. They should have an excellent chance of getting another win with David Price on the mound tonight.

Price is 12-9 with a 3.00 ERA and has been exactly as advertised since moving over to the Tigers from Tampa Bay. He's gone eight innings in two straight outings, allowing a grand total of four hits and one single run, while striking out 16 batters. Price is certainly in a groove right now.

For New York, Shane Greene gets the nod, and he'll take a 3-1 record and 3.17 ERA into tonight's start. Greene has been solid for the most part, but he only lasted five innings in his most recent start, giving up nine hits and three runs against the White Sox.

It was a low-scoring game in yesterday's opener, and Ross is once again on the lookout for a pitchers' duel. Will Price and Greene have their best stuff tonight? Ross is recommending that readers back the UNDER with their MLB picks.

Tampa Bay Rays (Smyly) vs. Baltimore Orioles (Gausman)
Covered by LT Profits Sports Group
Baltimore is still cruising in the division and they'll do battle once again with a Tampa Bay team that's gone 3-7 over its past 10 games overall. The Rays are 64-68 overall this season, putting them 12 games back of the Orioles.

Kevin Gausman and Drew Smyly start tonight. Gausman is 7-5 with a 3.81 ERA on the season, but comes in having lasted only five innings in two of his previous three appearances. We'll have to see if he can show better command against Evan Longoria and the Rays here.

Tampa Bay calls on left-hander Smyly, who has been excellent since getting traded to the team. He pitched a complete-game shutout in Toronto five days ago, so confidence should be sky-high for the southpaw at the moment.

With Smyly performing at such a high level right now, and the Rays faring better on the road (35-32) than they have at home this season, we can't blame LT for going the way of taking the road team as underdogs in the MLB odds.

Los Angeles Dodgers (Kershaw) vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (Miley)
Covered by Willie Bee
The Diamondbacks have dropped two in a row and are a poor 2-8 over their last 10 games. Even worse, now they have to contend with the best pitcher in baseball: Clayton Kershaw.

Kershaw has been out-of-this-world good this season, going 15-3 with a 1.82 ERA. It hasn't mattered if he's been pitching at home or on the road. The results have been the same, so the Dodgers should be in a great position to win tonight.

Arizona will need a quality start from Wade Miley to have any chance whatsoever tonight. It's a good thing he's been in decent form, having allowed three or fewer earned runs in three consecutive assignments.

Instead of going with a money-line play tonight, however, Willie has decided to focus on a total play. He's rolling with the OVER, in hopes that the offenses can do just enough to tip the final over the posted number.
