Need help breaking down the MLB odds and finding the true value with your sports picks? It's once again time to see what's on offer.

New York Yankees (McCarthy) vs. Cleveland Indians (Tomlin)
Covered by Ron Patrick

Not many could have seen Masahiro Tanaka struggling like he did yesterday. The Indians made life difficult and hope to inflict similar damage on Brandon McCarthy, who makes his Yankees debut tonight.

With Josh Tomlin (5-6, 4.11 ERA) finding it tough to find any consistency and McCarthy not exactly having the best of seasons so far, Ron believes the OVER is the play.
Pick: OVER 8.5

Pittsburgh Pirates (Cumpton) vs. St. Louis Cardinals (Lynn)
Covered by Ron Patrick and Steven Suarez

The Cardinals have benefited from some late heroics over the last couple of nights, getting walk-off homers from both Matt Adams and Kolten Wong.

Will there be more magic in St. Louis again tonight? It'll be Lance Lynn and Brandon Cumpton pitching and we have two separate betting picks available. I like the UNDER, while Ron is on Pittsburgh.

Pick: Ron: Pirates +120 // Steven: UNDER 7.5

Atlanta Braves (Santana) vs. New York Mets (Gee)
Covered by Willie Bee

The Braves are reeling, losing three straight to put them in a dead even heat with Washington in the NL East. Atlanta certainly needs a pick-me-up pronto and hope that Ervin Santana can lead them to a road win tonight.

For New York, Dillon Gee (3-1, 2.73 ERA) makes his return, but Willie thinks the best MLB betting value lies with the visiting Braves.

Pick: Braves -120

Washington Nationals (Roark) vs. Baltimore Orioles (Norris)
Covered by Willie Bee

The Orioles are cruising right now. They're won three in a row, helping them build a 2.5-game lead on Toronto in the AL East.

Bud Norris (7-5, 3.62 ERA) has been in great form recently, but Tanner Roark owns a 3.12 ERA on the year, proving he hasn't been a slouch in any shape or form. Nonetheless, Willie expects plenty of runs this evening and will therefore be recommending the OVER.

Pick: OVER 8.5

Oakland Athletics (Hammel) vs. San Francisco Giants (Cain)
Covered by Jeff Grant

Jason Hammel makes his Athletics debut tonight and he doesn't have the easiest of assignments. The Giants haven't been playing their best, but they're still not an easy team to beat.

San Francisco will put the ball in the glove of Matt Cain, who's been very unlucky this season. He's 1-7 with a 4.27 ERA overall this season, but has looked better here over his last couple of starts. Jeff has analyzed the MLB betting odds and has decided to take the OVER.

Pick: OVER 7

Philadelphia Phillies (Hernandez) vs. Milwaukee Brewers (Lohse)
Covered by Jeff Grant

Offense ruled the day in yesterday's meeting. Let's see if Kyle Lohse (9-3, 3.18 ERA) and Roberto Hernandez (3-8, 4.48 ERA) can fare better out on the bump.

It's obviously no surprise to see Lohse and the Brewers holding such heavy chalk. He's been fantastic at home throughout the year, going 3-1 with a 2.10 ERA in seven starts. Jeff isn't going to take any chances and will be siding with Milwaukee at the steep price.

Pick: Brewers -200

Kansas City Royals (Ventura) vs. Tampa Bay Rays (Cobb)
Covered by Matthew Jordan

Don't look now but the Rays are starting to find their groove. They've gone 8-2 over their last 10 and have already overtaken Boston in their quest to make a real run in the division. They're only nine games back of Baltimore now.

Alex Cobb and Yordano Ventura will start tonight and the MLB betting lines favor Tampa Bay by a small margin. Matthew is favoring both the Royals and the UNDER with his MLB picks.

Pick: Royals +122 and UNDER 7
