We're back with another edition of our daily MLB odds report, complete with an early look at the available baseball betting lines and all of our handicappers recommended picks. Will we beat the books tonight?

New York Yankees (Tanaka) vs. Cleveland Indians (Bauer)
Covered by Ron Patrick
The Yankees won yesterday's opener, as they got after Justin Masterson early and were able to hold on for the 5-3 win. Tonight it's Masahiro Tanaka on the mound for New York and we all know how special he's been. Ron is expecting the Yankees to win by two or more runs and will take them on the run-line.
Pick: Yankees -1.5 (+115)

Pittsburgh Pirates (Worley) vs. St. Louis Cardinals (Martinez)
Covered by Ron Patrick
Only a half-game separates the Cardinals and Pirates heading into tonight's game. Pittsburgh calls on Vance Worley, who's looked good at 2-1 with a 2.28 ERA since getting the call-up into the rotation. Despite being on the road, Ron likes the price that comes with Pittsburgh and will back them to beat out Carlos Martinez and company.
Pick: Pirates +110

Atlanta Braves (Teheran) vs. New York Mets (deGrom)
Covered by Willie Bee
The Braves are still on top of the NL East despite losing two games in a row. They really need a good outing out of Julio Teheran (8-5, 2.29 ERA), with New York calling on Jacob deGrom (1-5, 3.77 ERA).  When placing his MLB picks, Willie has decided to recommend Atlanta as road favorites.
Pick: Braves -140

Baltimore Orioles (Norris) vs. Washington Nationals (Fister)
Covered by Willie Bee
We have a new leader in the AL East and it's the Orioles, who have used a three-game winning streak to go three games up on Toronto and three-and-a-half up on the Yankees. Doug Fister has been solid as can be so far this season, yet Willie believes Baltimore, behind Bud Norris, is the right play as dogs.
Pick: Orioles +135

Los Angeles Dodgers (Ryu) vs. Detroit Tigers (Verlander)
Covered by Steven Suarez
There's multiple reasons we like the Dodgers to win in Detroit tonight. Justin Verlander has been quite inconsistent, while Hyun-Jin Ryu (9-4, 3.08 ERA) has been terrific lately, especially when pitching on the road. I'm backing LA, who own the MLB's best road record, to get it done.
Pick: Dodgers +105

Toronto Blue Jays (Dickey) vs. Los Angeles Angels (Skaggs)
Covered by Jeff Grant
Hard to trust either Tyler Skaggs (4-4, 4.16 ERA) or R.A. Dickey (6-8, 4.10 ERA), right? Thing is, it's clear who the better overall team is right now and that's the Angels, who have won five straight games. Jeff will be fading the Blue Jays, losers of five in a row, with his MLB picks this evening.
Pick: Angels -155

San Francisco Giants (Bumgarner) vs. Oakland Athletics (Gray)
Covered by Jeff Grant
We should have a great pitchers duel on our hands tonight. Sonny Gray (8-3, 3.08 ERA) and Madison Bumgarner (9-6, 3.09 ERA) have been great for their respective teams so far in 2014 and will aim to keep it going. Oakland is on a roll right now though, winning five straight, and Jeff likes them again here.
Pick: Athletics -145
[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":286578, "sportsbooksIds":[43], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Houston Astros (Peacock) vs. Texas Rangers (Irwin)
Covered by Matthew Jordan
Who could have seen this ultra disappointing season for the Rangers coming? They're currently 38-51, which is the second-worst record in the entire American League. Craziness. Despite their struggles, however, Matthew thinks there' value in taking Texas at home tonight. He's also digging the UNDER.
Pick: Rangers -118 and Under 10
