Our MLB handicapping professional has gone a stellar 29-21 (58%) with his last 50 underdog picks. Go inside to find out what money line underdogs he’s chosen for today.

Nationals (Gonzalez) vs Brewers (Garza) 4:10 PM ET
By virtue of their 5-3 setback last night, Washington has now lost six straight games in a row, and they’ve scored 3 runs or less in each of those outings. Washington southpaw starter Gio Gonzalez is 0-6 in his previous six team starts, posting a sizable 7.60 ERA and 1.66 WHIP during those outings. As a matter of fact, the Nationals are 5-9 (.357) this year in games with Gonzalez as their starter, and 38-23 (.623) without him.

When sifting through the Brewers numbers in 2016, I discovered some very interesting splits. Milwaukee has gone a dismal 13-23 on the road, but they’re a respectable 20-17 at home. The Brewers are 20-30 (.400) when facing right-handed starting pitchers, and against southpaws they’ve gone a solid 13-10.

Matt Garza recently returned to the Brewers starting rotation, and he certainly was a welcomed addition. During his first two starts of 2016, Garza allowed just 1 earned run in 10.0 innings while issuing only 1 walk.

I like the home underdog betting value offered by the MLB Odds in this matchup, and one of my Saturday MLB Picks will be reflective of that proclamation.

Mets (DeGrom) vs Braves (Teheran) 7:15 PM ET
Despite their 8-6 loss last night, Atlanta is 7-2 during its last nine games, and is going through their most productive offensive stretch thus far in 2016. The Braves are averaging 4.8 runs scored and 10.1 hits per games during their last nine outings. That far exceeds their season averages of 3.4 runs scored and 8.0 hits per game.

Julio Teheran gets the start on Saturday for Atlanta, and he’s displayed dominating form over his last three outings. During those starts, he posted a 1.87 ERA and a superb 0.45 WHIP.  Atlanta has gone a dismal 4-11 with Teheran as their starter this year. However, it’s been by no fault of Teheran who’s compiled a sparkling 2.66 ERA and 0.91 WIP in those outings. Teheran faced the Mets once this season, and tossed a complete game 1 hit shutout.

Jacob DeGrom is 0-3 in his last three starts with a 4.00 ERA. Even with their 8 run outburst on Friday, the Mets have a horrible .271 team PBP over their previous seven games. Offensive production has been an issue for the Mets all season, and it became even worse since losing David Wright and Lucas Duda to injuries.

Current MLB betting odds at Sportsbetting clearly provides me with the best price for this money line wager.
