The NLCS heads back to Chicago for game 6 in what could be the final game if the Cubs win. The Dodgers put their season on the shoulders of the best pitcher in baseball. Are The MLB odds right to make them the road favorites?

MLB playoff record: 6-6-1 (three underdog winners)Los Angeles Dodgers

Clayton Kershaw takes the mound for Los Angeles and comes in with a 1.69 ERA and 0.72 whip along with the title of the best pitcher of this generation. Currently, he is a solid road favorite which just goes to show how special he is considering that Chicago has lit the scoreboard up the last two games. However, despite how the awesomeness of Kershaw I believe there are some decent value in going ahead and fading him today. In his first game against Chicago at Wrigley Field, he was his dominant self-allowing zero earned runs off of two hits in seven innings. Still, I'm going to go off the notion that Chicago getting a second look at him in a short amount of time could be beneficial. If we look at the Washington series for Kershaw the second time the Nationals got a look at him they were able to score five earned runs off of seven hits in just over six innings of work. Although the Cubs might not have the similar success I think value wise backing them today is the way to go, as well as we consider their starting pitcher who has also been excellent this season.

Chicago Cubs

Kyle Hendricks gets the start for Chicago and comes in with a 2.13 ERA and 0.98 whip along with a ridiculous 1.32 ERA at home this season. Pitching in Wrigley Field Hendricks has allowed batters to hit just .201 and in his first outing versus the Dodgers, he was solid allowing just one earned run off of three hits in just over five innings of work giving up a solo shot to Adrian Gonzalez. I find it amazing that a guy with such a low ERA at home this season along with a 9-2 record overall is the underdog, but that just highlights how spectacular his counterpart has been in his career. Still, value wise can we see the Cubs garnering a few runs to find a way to win this game? I think the answer is an unequivocal yes. Value wise getting plus money on a dominant home pitcher no matter who he is facing along with the fact the Cubs are coming into this game with some momentum  has me taking a shot with Chicago.
