We ended the week with a split, but the Diamondbacks' 13-0 demolition of the Dodgers as big road dogs made our 1-1 Monday easier to swallow. Let's discuss our MLB picks for Tuesday and cash those tickets!

Diamondbacks (80-58, +18.4 Units) at Dodgers (92-45, +23.7 Units)

Los Angeles' starter Hyun-Jin Ryu's team record is 1-7 (-7.7 Units) when playing against a team with a winning record this season.

Los Angeles is 1-4 (-6.4 Units) in September games this season.

Los Angeles is 32-26 (-9.8 Units) against division opponents this season.

Arizona is 35-23 (+13.4 Units) against division opponents this season.

Arizona is 57-38 (+15.8 Units) in night games this season.

Arizona is 49-30 (+17.3 Units) after a win this season.

Although we are not trying to be gluttonous, we have to go back to the same refreshing well that quenched our insatiable thirst for winning MLB picks yesterday. The D-Backs were a big underdog that had notched 10 consecutive wins (now 11) against a Dodgers' club that had suddenly and violently spun out of control into a losing skein we never thought possible. LA has now dropped nine of its last 10 games!

Let's not buck these trends but rather make money because of them. Snakes ace Zack Greinke is on the hill and pitched a gem his last time out against these same Dodgers, holding Los Angeles to one run on four hits over six innings en route to Arizona's 8-1 victory. Let's have deja vu all over again and back the Snakes.

Free MLB Pick: Diamondbacks +115

Best Line Offered: JustBet

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3139878, "sportsbooksIds":[1275,169,19,238,93], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1 }[/]

Cardinals (70-67, -8.6 Units ) at Padres (62-76, +5.5 Units)

San Diego is 38-33 (+11.3 Units) in home games this season.

San Diego is 25-19 (+10.5 Units) at home when the total is 8 to 8.5 this season.

San Diego is 7-1 (+9.6 Units) after getting shutout this season.

St. Louis is 77-77 (-18.8 Units) after a win over the last two seasons.

St. Louis is 2-8 (-6.8 Units) after shutting out their opponent this season.

St. Louis is 9-13 (-6.2 Units) when playing on Tuesday this season.

The Cards took the opener of this four-game set in San Diego, but tonight belongs to the Padres. San Diego has some nifty trends working for it in this meeting, not the least of which is the Cards' 7-1 mark after getting shut out, as they were in their 2-0 setback to St. Louis last night. In addition, the Padres had been playing some pretty good ball heading into this series after taking three of four from the Dodgers.

Want more? San Diego's starter Travis Wood has a superb 10-1 team record in home games over the last three seasons. Wood also takes a 1-0 record with a 2.76 ERA over his last three into this one, and we like the price that the MLB odds makers are so generously giving us. Let's grab the home dog and cash in this one.

Free MLB Pick: Padres +146

Best Line Offered: Bookmaker

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3139552, "sportsbooksIds":[93,169,238,1275,1096], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1 }[/]
