Mining the Diamond cashed again last night and is now 6-0 over the last three days. Let's peruse the MLB odds to line up our next pair of winners on Sunday!

Cardinals (8-10, -3.0 units) vs. Brewers (9-10, +2.0 units)

* Milwaukee is 30-47 (-21.2 Units) at home when the total is 8 to 8.5 over the last three seasons.

* Milwaukee is 11-25 (-15.1 Units) in home games in April games over the last 3 seasons.

* Milwaukee's starter Jimmy Nelson 0-6 in his career when starting against the Cardinals with an ERA of 6.97 and a WHIP of 1.573.

* Milwaukee is 99-151 (-37.1 units) when starting against right-handers over the past three seasons.

* St. Louis is 38-27 (+14.5 Units) in road games against right-handed starters over the last two seasons.

* St. Louis is 96-76 (+20.5 units) in road games over the past three seasons.

* St. Louis is 96-71 (+9.9 units) against division opponents over the past three seasons.

The Cardinals are beginning to get their mojo rolling, having won five of their last six, while the Brew Crew is reeling with four losses in five of their last outings. Today we have an enormous pitching matchup with St. Louis trotting Mike Leake and his 0.84 ERA out to the hill while Jimmy Nelson gets the call for Milwaukee. Nelson got blown up in his last start when he surrendered seven runs on nine hits in five plus innings of work which resulted in a 9-7 loss to the Cubs. In addition, Nelson has gotten railed by the Cardinals throughout his career and owns an 0-6 record with a 6.97 ERA and a 1.573 WHIP against them. Let's back the Redbirds in our MLB picks and keep on cashing!

 Tigers (9-8, +1.6 units) vs. Twins (8-9, -1.6 units)

* Minnesota is 35-57 (-23.5 Units) in home games over the last two seasons.

* Minnesota is 32-61 (-22.0 Units) against division opponents over the last two seasons.

* Minnesota is 42-85 (-38.0 Units) against right-handed starters over the last two seasons.

* Detroit is 21-12 (+13.7 Units) in road games in day games over the last two seasons.

* Detroit is 55-39 (+15.3 Units) after a win over the last two seasons.

* Detroit's starter Michael Fulmer 10-0 (+11.5 Units) in day games over the last two seasons. (Team's Record)

* Detroit's starter Michael Fulmer is 12-2 (+10.3 Units) when the total is 8 to 8.5 over the last two seasons. (Team's Record)

The casual baseball fan outside of Detroit does not know the name Michael Fulmer but he's coming like a freight train and the MLB odds makers have vastly undervalued him here. Fulmer pitched six innings of shutout ball in Boston to start the season then allowed three runs against both Minnesota and Tampa Bay which has resulted in his 1-1 record with a 3.00 ERA and 1.06 WHIP. He has defeated the Twins in both of his career starts while his  counter Kyle Gibson is 4-6 when starting against the Tigers in his career and owns an ERA of 5.25 and a WHIP of 1.492 in those appearances. Detroit has yet to lose when Fulmer takes the hill in day games (10-0, +11.5 units) and will maintain that streak today.
