It’s been a rough and tumble few weeks of our MLB Props, but the holiday is here and while some of you are enjoying time on the lake or BBQ-ing in the backyard, I am trying to find you valuable prop picks from Bovada sportsbook!

More Runs, Hits and RBIs – Avisail Garcia vs. Francisco Lindor

One of several afternoon games on Monday is the White Sox and Indians, with Trevor Bauer heading into Chicago to face off against James Shields.  While the White Sox’s right-hander has been solid, but not great lately, Bauer has been finding his groove in the month of August.

However, now the calendar has turned to September, and one hitter who I think is about to heat up for the Tribe is Francisco Lindor. He homered in his last game and while Jose Ramirez is getting a lot of the credit for the Indians’ success lately, Lindor hitting at the top of the order has a lot to do with it. Plus, Lindor has really hit well in his limited appearances against Shields in his career. Lindor is 3-for-4 with a home run, 2 RBIs and a walk. If he has that kind of success again this afternoon, he is going to beat out Avisail Garcia in this prop.

Garcia has been a monster at the plate lately, but while he crushed lefties, he comes back down to earth against right-handed pitching. Garcia owns a solid .347 wOBA against right-handers, but his BABIP drops a lot against righties and his slugging percentage drops some as well.

Bauer has held right-handers to a .319 wOBA this season, and they have a strikeout rate against Bauer of more than 28 percent. If Bauer is on his game this afternoon, I like him to slow down Garcia and get Lindor to win this prop.
