We have a pair of winning totals to heat up your Labor Day Monday.  Be sure to check them out before making any picks on the Indians vs. White Sox & Giants vs. Diamondbacks.

Indians (Bauer) vs. White Sox (Sale) 2:10 PM ET
Trevor Bauer is 11-1-1 under the total on the road this season with a solid 3.39 ERA. Cleveland’s right-handed hurler has a stellar 2.81 ERA during day games in 2015, and seven of those eight outings went under the total. Bauer will be facing an opponent (White Sox) today whose hitters average 7.6 strikeouts per game. He’s gone a perfect 9-0 under the total this year against opposing teams that strike out 7.0 or more times per game. Bauer has made two starts at US Cellular Field in Chicago this year, and posted a microscopic 0.64 ERA. Cleveland has seen five of their previous six games go under the total.

Chris Sale has gone 9-4 under the total at home this season with a very good 2.73 ERA. Sale has faced Cleveland twice in 2015 and posted a stellar 1.80 ERA in addition to an excellent 0.87 WHIP. The White Sox will be facing an opponent (Indians) today that averages 0.81 home runs per game. They’ve gone 19-9 under the total at home this year when facing opponents averaging 0.90 home runs or less per game.

These teams have seen eleven of their thirteen encounters go under the total this season, and that includes all seven at US Cellular Field. I like today’s game to be a low scoring affair, and one of my MLB picks on Monday will echo that sentiment.

MLB Pick: Indians & White Sox UNDER 7.5 (-115) at Pinnacle

Giants (Leake) vs. Diamondbacks (Corbin) 4:10 PM ET
Mike Leake has seen each of his previous five road starts go under the total. The Giants right-hander compiled a terrific 1.27 ERA, 0.74 WHIP, and a better than 5:1 strikeout to walk ratio in those outings.

The Diamondbacks Patrick Corbin has seen each of his last four starts at home go under the number. The Arizona southpaw hurler played a large part in those low scoring games by posting a stellar 2.63 ERA and 0.96 WHIP.

I’m looking for each of these starting pitchers to be dominant in this NL West battle on Labor Day. Both 5Dimes and Pinnacle provides us with the best betting values in the MLB odds market pertaining to this specific wager.

MLB Pick: Giants & Diamondbacks UNDER 8.0 (+100) at 5Dimes
