We've got a number of games incorporated in our MLB daily odds report for Tuesday, with the standout matchups including the Orioles at home to the Angels and the Dodgers hosting the Braves. What kind of sports picks are our handicappers recommending?

New York Yankees (McCarthy) vs. Texas Rangers (Martinez)
Covered by Willie Bee
Yu Darvish put the Rangers on his back and helped them to a rare home win in the series opener last night. Don't expect similar things from Nick Martinez (1-6, 4.73 ERA) tonight.

Texas will be the heavy home underdogs here, as Brandon McCarthy (2-0, 1.45) has looked very good for the Yankees, who are a solid 29-25 on the road this season. Willie believes tonight's total is perhaps a little too high and is therefore picking the UNDER to come through.

Pittsburgh Pirates (Liriano) vs. San Francisco Giants (Hudson)
Covered by Ron Patrick
After a shaky start (nine hits and six earned runs allowed) against Oakland, Tim Hudson has rebounded nicely, posting two quality outings in a row while surrendering just one run over 13 and 1/3 innings. He'll try to lead the Giants to a win at home over the Pirates tonight.

Pittsburgh will have Francisco Liriano (2-7, 4.18 ERA) starting, with the MLB odds showing the road team as +105 underdogs. We have another total play recommendation here, with Ron liking the UNDER.

MLB Pick: UNDER 6.5

Los Angeles Angels (Weaver) vs. Baltimore Orioles (Tillman)
Covered by Ron Patrick and Jeff Grant
The Orioles remain the top dogs in the AL East, while the Angels are making things very interesting in the AL West. LA is just one-and-a-half games back of Oakland for first place.

Tonight's game in Baltimore will feature Chris Tillman and Jered Weaver. Tillman (7-5, 3.92 ERA) has been pitching much better of late, but Jered Weaver (11-6, 3.36 ERA) has the better overall numbers this season. Both Ron and Jeff like the Angels, with Ron going as far as to back them on the run-line.

MLB Pick: Ron: Angels -1.5 (+145) // Jeff: Angels -125

Atlanta Braves (Harang) vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (Beckett)
Covered by Willie Bee
We're looking forward to this series. The Dodgers remain in first place in the NL West and are now two games up on the Giants as they get set to host the Braves, who have won three in a row to put them just a half-game back of Washington.

Josh Beckett and Aaron Harang will be tonight's starters and Willie believes the posted O/U is too low. He expects plenty of runs to be put on the board and will opt for the OVER with his MLB picks.

MLB Pick: OVER 7

Philadelphia Phillies (Hamels) vs. New York Mets (Gee)
Covered by Jeff Grant
It's been a mess of a season for the Phillies, but Cole Hamels has been one of the few bright spots. He's rocking a 2.72 ERA despite getting very little run support (5-5 record) and he's looked especially sharp recently.

Dillon Gee (4-3, 3.49 ERA) will start for New York and, though he's been pretty solid as well, Jeff likes the value that comes with backing the OVER.

MLB Pick: OVER 7

St. Louis Cardinals (Lynn) vs. San Diego Padres (Ross)
Covered by Ross Benjamin
We've got two hard-throwing pitchers on the mound tonight in the form of Tyson Ross and Lance Lynn. Ross is 9-10 with an excellent 2.65 ERA this season and will lead out the Padres as short -110 to -115 favorites.

Despite being 13 games under .500 overall, San Diego is an even 26-26 at home and Ross has decided to side with the hosts with his sports picks.

MLB Pick: Padres -110

Oakland Athletics (Samardzija) vs. Houston Astros (Feldman)
Covered by Joe Catalano
The Astros jumped on Jesse Chavez yesterday and ran out as victors in the series opener in Houston. Tonight, however, Houston will have to deal with another significant underdog line in their own ballpark up against Jeff Samardzija.

After analyzing the MLB odds, Joe will be banking on an Oakland win and will play it safe by taking them on the money-line.

MLB Pick: Athletics -192
