Toronto Blue Jays vs Cleveland Indians
Reasonable road chalk here to back the Toronto Blue Jays and Aaron Sanchez who takes the mound here looking to continue his terrific season. Sanchez has allowed 2 runs or less in 9 of his last 10 starts which is a flat out dominating statistic and he already has a win under his belt against Cleveland in his lone previous start against the Indians last season. Sanchez actually has an even better road ERA at 2.40 on the season and I expect him to be sharp again here and it’s worth noting that Toronto’s bullpen behind Sanchez has been much better lately and has been bolstered by the additions of veteran relievers Joaquin Benoit and Jason Grilli to provide a solid bridge from their starters to closer Roberto Osuna.

On the flip side, Josh Tomlin appears to be hitting a wall for the Cleveland Indians as he has been roughed up in recent outings to the tune of 17 runs on 24 hits including 4 home runs allowed in his last 16.1 innings of work. Cleveland is 0-3 in his last three starts and I think he will be in tough to snap that losing skid here. Sanchez has been one of the top arms in baseball this season and this is a most reasonable price to get behind him and the Blue Jays on Saturday as your MLB pick.
