MLB prop betting takes mounds of research and combing through hours of stats to find the perfect odds. Sportsbook Review has complied the best prop betting matchups on tonight's slate.

MLB Thursday: Gimme 5

Joey Votto vs. Michael Wacha

Joey Votto is probably one of the most underrated hitters in baseball, and he continues to prove that this season for the Reds. Votto has been hot in his last six games, going 9-for-25 (.360) with four multi-hit games over that span.

Now Votto has a dream matchup against Cardinals righty Michael Wacha. Votto has raked against Wacha during their careers, going 13-for-34 (.382) with a home, 4 RBI, and six extra-base hits. Coming off a three-hit performance Wednesday, Votto is once again in a prime position for prop betting tonight.

Mitch Moreland vs. Sonny Gray

First for the Rangers and now for the Red Sox, Mitch Moreland has made a career of being a beast against right-handed pitchers. There are certain matchups he just rakes in, and while he is just a platoon player now, assuming Moreland is at first base tonight and Hanley Ramirez is the DH, Moreland could rake against Yankees right-hander Sonny Gray.

Moreland is a career .240 hitter against Gray in 27 career plate appearances. However, four of Moreland’s six hits against Gray have left the park.

This series got a little heated Wednesday night. Hopefully that means Moreland is going to extract some revenge with his bat. If his home run odds are good, take a shot with him.

Brett Gardner vs. Rick Porcello

On the other side of an already-testy rivalry is Brett Gardner. If Gardner is in the leadoff spot for the Yankees tonight against Red Sox starter Rick Porcello, he could be in for a healthy night at the plate.

Gardner and Porcello have faced one another nearly 50 times, and Gardner owns a .304 batting average with two homers and five total extra-base hits. A runs, hits and RBI prop on Gardner might be profitable with your MLB picks if the lefty is hitting leadoff and the guys behind Gardner are driving him in.

Ian Kennedy vs. Angels Hitters

Royals starter Ian Kennedy has faced Angels hitters a total of 137 times. Although he has allowed six home runs, Kennedy also has made the L.A. batters swing and miss a lot.

Kennedy has 32 strikeouts against the Angels over those 137 plate appearances for a strikeout rate of 23.4 percent. While this, of course, does not include first-year phenom Shohei Ohtani, Kennedy’s strikeout total could very well be an "over" play in your MLB picks tonight.

All Hitters for Tigers and Indians

Tonight's Tigers-Indians game has a run total of 8½ on the MLB odds board, and that might not be enough with Michael Fulmer and Trevor Bauer on the hill for their respective clubs. These pitchers have been rocked by the lineups of tonight's opponents, and if that stays true to form, run -- don’t walk -- to bet the "over" on this total.

The Indians have rocked Fulmer to the tune of a .321 batting average in 88 plate appearances. Cleveland hasn’t been that successful at scoring runs off Fulmer, but at least they are getting on base.

For the Tigers’ hitters, it’s more of the same story, but with power. Detroit has a combined .320 batting average with three home runs, 19 RBI, and 11 extra-base hits off Bauer in 110 plate appearances. We could see a lot runs driven in for this one.
