As the San Francisco Giants shoot for a sweep of the Philadelphia Phillies, we are eager to share our MLB picks on the run-line odds, as well as on the run total.

Giants-Phillies Sunday Betting Odds
As of early Sunday morning the best price we could find on San Francisco and Ryan Vogelsong was the -135 offered at WagerWeb, while Philly and Sean O'Sullivan could be found getting +127 at GT Bets. And most books were listing the total on today's game at 8.5 runs.

The Situation
San Francisco has taken the first two games of this series, by scores of 5-4 Friday and 7-5 Saturday. To our great delight the Giants covered against the run line Saturday, and the game played OVER its total of 7.5 runs.

So San Francisco (32-25) has won two in a row, since snapping a five-game losing streak, while Philadelphia (21-36) has lost 10 of its last 12 games.

On the injury front Giants OF Hunter Pence has missed the last three games with a sore wrist, and he'll probably miss Sunday's game, too.

Sunday's Starters
O'Sullivan (1-4, 5.03) is three-for-seven on quality starts this season, but 0 for his last two. Tuesday he gave up four runs in 5 2/3 innings against Cincinnati, and just before that he got clipped for seven runs in 5 2/3 innings against the Mets, allowing four homers. Philly is just 2-5 in O'Sullivan's starts this year, and a good part of that is his own fault.

O'Sullivan last started against San Francisco two years ago, when as a Padre he gave up two runs in five innings of a 10-1 San Diego loss.

Vogelsong (4-3, 4.26) is five-for-nine on quality starts this year, and two for his last three. Monday he gave up three earned runs through six innings against Pittsburgh, and over his last three starts he's allowed just four ER through 18 innings. The Giants have won five of Vogie's last six starts.

Vogelsong started once last year against the Phillies and gave up three ER and 11 hits through just three innings of a game Frisco eventually won 7-4.

Sunday's Batting Splits
San Francisco ranks third in the Majors this season against right-handed pitching with a .331 team OBP, while Philly ranks dead last against righties with an anemic .273 OBP.

After reviewing the prices on SBR's live MLB baseball odds page, we see value in the run-line and total runs market. We had some nice luck with our MLB picks yesterday with San Francisco on the run line paired with the OVER, and we have a feeling Sunday's game might play out about the same.
