We browse the early odds board in search of betting value on Friday's card. Read on for two MLB picks to maximize your profits before Game 4 of the NBA Finals starts.

Marlins vs. Pirates

Vance Worley (0-2, 6.59 ERA, 1.32 WHIP) will take the hill for the Marlins still looking for his first win in four appearances (three starts) this season. Worley struggled against the Diamondbacks last Sunday, allowing five earned runs on six hits and three walks with five strikeouts in just 3 2/3 innings to get a no-decision. Worley hasn't pitched more than five innings in any of his appearances this season and there's no reason to believe that trend will change, even against a struggling Pittsburgh team.

The Pirates will go with Tyler Glasnow (2-5, 6.97 ERA, 1.87 WHIP), who has lost his last two starts, giving up nine earned runs over his last 10 innings of work. Glasnow surrendered four earned runs on five hits (three home runs) and three walks with five strikeouts in five innings on Saturday's 4-2 loss against the Mets. It was the fourth time in five starts that he failed to pitch more than five innings and his poor control is one of the reasons to blame, as he has issued two or more walks in 10 of his 11 starts. I'm looking at 'Over' 9.5 at -109 MLB odds here, Worley is winless for a reason and Glasnow is just 1-3 with a 6.58 ERA in six home starts.

Phillies vs. Cardinals

Right-hander Jeremy Hellickson (5-3, 4.50 ERA, 1.20 WHIP) has lost two of his last three appearances, but he did pitch better on Sunday, giving up five runs (three earned) on four hits and four walks with four strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings to get a no-decision in a 9-7 win against the Giants. Hellickson has a 4.64 ERA in six road starts and a 6.43 ERA in five night starts so the St. Louis offense should get back on track here.

Michael Wacha (2-3, 4.67 ERA, 1.41 WHIP) will make his 11th start of the season for the Cardinals. The right-hander is winless since April 19 and he allowed six earned runs on six hits (two home runs) and four walks with five strikeouts in five innings of a 7-6 loss against the Cubs to get a no-decision last Sunday. Wacha is just 0-2 with an 11.91 ERA over his last three starts and he has a 6.11 ERA in seven night starts. 'Over' 8.5 is the right MLB pick here.
