The Colorado Rockies invade their NL West neighbors from Los Angeles tonight as the teams open a three-game set. Let's review the MLB odds and keep our white hot season moving forward.

Yesterday I included the Baltimore Orioles in my MLB Picks and, truth be told, I wasn't feeling all that confident after watching the Yankees' pitchers shutdown the O's potent offense right up until the eighth inning. The score was 1-0 and Baltimore finally threatened with two men on and one out, until the rains came to delay the game. Ultimately the teams trotted back on the field and the O's rallied for a 3-1 victory.

I cashed my fourth consecutive winner and am now hitting almost 66 percent of my plays this season. At this moment the gambling gods are smiling upon us so we must make the most of this run while it lasts. Let's keep it going tonight! Colorado Rockies (25-31, -3.3 units) Colorado snapped their four-game losing streak yesterday with an offensive explosion as they avoided a series sweep at the hands of the San Diego Padres with a 10-3 victory.

Carlos Gonzalez smashed a pair of two-run bombs to lead the offensive charge. The Rockies own one of the most prolific offenses in all of baseball with the 3rd ranked team batting average (.271), 5th in runs scored (282), 7th in on base percentage (.329) and 2nd in slugging percentage (.457).

Right-hander Tyler Chatwood (6-4, 2.99) is slated to start the opener of a three-game series as the team travels to Los Angeles this evening.

Chatwood last pitched on Wednesday and was installed by the MLB Odds makers as a towering -200 home favorite over the lowly Cincinnati Reds but his ineffective performance sent all those chalk eaters home with a chunk out of their bankroll as he surrendered five runs on eight hits in five plus innings of work in the 7-2 loss.

The 26-year-old is 3-5 when starting against the Dodgers with an ERA of 3.68 and a WHIP of 1.500. Los Angeles Dodgers (31-27, -3.1 units) It was no surprise that the Dodgers beat up the worst team in baseball over the weekend and they punctuated their series sweep of the Atlanta Braves with a 12-6 victory yesterday afternoon.

Young shortstop Corey Seager nailed a pair of fastballs into the bleachers for his 13th and 14th home runs of the season while Yasmani Grandal deposited a three-run shot to add to the lead. However, offense has not been the Dodgers' strong suit this season as evidenced by their ranking in the bottom third of the league in team batting average (.237), on base percentage (.311) and slugging percentage (.382).

Surprisingly though, LA is ranked 13th in runs scored this season with 252 on the year. The Dodgers' Mike Bolsinger (1-2, 4.20) takes the bump tonight against Colorado as he looks to build on a solid effort in his last start where he allowed just two runs on two hits in five innings of work that resulted in a 2-1 loss to the Cubs at Wrigley Stadium.

The 28-year-old has traveled back and forth this season between triple-A Oklahoma City and the big club and is 1-1 when starting against the Rockies in his career with an ERA of 5.40 and a WHIP of 1.650. Betting Analysis LA has gotten a burst of offensive muscle recently thanks to young guns Corey Seager and Trayce Thompson (brother of Golden State's standout Klay Thompson).

They have injected a big spark in this Dodgers lineup and did much of the damage yesterday in LA's win over Atlanta. But how much longer that surge will last is anyone's guess because Big Blue's lineup has not been potent this season and any success they have had this season must be credited to their pitching staff.

But pitching is not an advantage here as the home team will face the best road pitcher in all of baseball in Colorado's Tyler Chatwood. Chatwood gave up just one earned run over his last two starts combined before Wednesday's ineffective performance at home against the Reds. But he is back on the highway tonight where he has been a stone-cold killer as evidenced by his 4-0 road mark with a league-best 0.53 ERA and hasn't allowed a home run in his five starts away from Coors Field.

In addition, the Rockies offense is more dangerous and will face a part-time major leaguer in Mike Bolsinger. Let's go with the road pup here and continue our torrid - and money-making - pace.
