Sports handicapper Ian Cameron provides his MLB Early Lines Report for the games taking place on Friday, August 12.

Baltimore Orioles vs. San Francisco Giants
The Baltimore Orioles have not played good baseball this week in Oakland but I don’t necessarily expect that to carry over to this series specifically this game tonight. Dylan Bundy is going to get the starting nod for Baltimore and he’s got an electric arm which has been on full display. He’s allowed just 6 runs in his last 23.2 innings over his last four starts with a sparkling 29-3 strikeout-to-walk ratio and Baltimore has gone 3-1 in those games. I think he will keep a struggling San Francisco lineup in check as the Giants have been held to 3 runs or less in six of their last ten games.

On the flip side, Matt Cain will get the start for the Giants and he’s gone B2B starts both against Washington without allowing a run but his control remains very sketchy as he’s yielded 8 walks in his last 15.1 innings and the Orioles have some pop in their lineup to make Cain pay the price for putting too many batters on base. Baltimore’s bullpen has been rock solid and San Francisco’s bullpen has been a sore spot in recent weeks so the latter innings of this game should provide an advantage for the Orioles. Take that into account for your MLB pick. I’ll lay the short price with the road team to pick up the win with MLB odds at -112.
