Sports handicapper Ian Cameron provides a look at MLB Betting Overnight  Lines for the games taking place on Thursday, June 30. Get a head start and get the inside track.

Kansas City Royals vs. St. Louis Cardinals
Two struggling pitchers that should be prone to giving up runs face off in this matchup between the Royals and Cardinals. It has been a rough season for Chris Young. He can be good when he is keeping the baseball in the park but when he’s allowing the long ball, he is not very effective and that has been his problem this season. He has a woeful 9.70 road ERA this season allowing 23 runs on 32 hits in 21.1 road innings pitched and 13 of his 21 home runs have been on the road. He was knocked out of the box early last season in a start against St. Louis here at Busch Stadium surrendering 4 runs on 5 hits in just 3 innings and could struggle again here.

Mike Leake has been laboring in recent starts for the St. Louis Cardinals (+1800 to Win NL, at Intertops) and he’s allowed 17 runs over his last 22.2 innings of work and he’s had trouble pitching deep only finishing the 7th inning once in his previous five starts and the Cardinals bullpen has endured some bumps in the road especially toward the back end of that St. Louis pen. Kansas City and St. Louis are both 4-1-1 to the Over in their last 6 games and I expect those recent trends to continue here on Thursday night.
