The kings of the National League head to San Francisco to face an NL West rival. Here are our  Los Angeles Dodgers-San Francisco Giants same-game parlay picks for Sunday.

Dodgers starter Andrew Heaney looks to keep his steadily rising ERA from getting out of hand as he prepares for October. This matchup has been a troubling one for both starters recently, so runs could be rampant on Sunday night.

Here are my same-game parlay picks for Sunday’s matchup between the Dodgers and Giants (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Dodgers vs. Giants Same Game Parlay Predictions

Dodgers -1.5 (-110)

The Dodgers are an incredible 44-28 as a run-line favorite on the road this season, covering at a higher rate than all but three MLB teams in that scenario despite having played far-and-away the most games under those circumstances. The Giants are 11-7 at home covering as a run-line underdog for a rate that ranks 10th in MLB this season.

Though it’s a solid matchup for the Giants against Heaney, the Dodgers should swing with success against San Francisco’s Alex Cobb. In their last two starts against Cobb this season, the Dodgers have scored six earned runs across 10.2 innings. The Dodgers’ .796 OPS against right-handed pitching this season is a whopping 39 points better than the second-best mark in MLB.

DraftKings offers this line at -105 compared to -110 at FanDuel.

Over 7.5 (-105)

We like the Dodgers to erupt and cover the -1.5 run line, but the Giants can contribute to this total as San Francisco gets a relatively favorable matchup against the Dodgers starter. Heaney faced the Giants two starts ago and had one of his worst starts of the season. He allowed six runs on four homers across 5.1 innings pitched as the San Francisco offense teed off.

The Giants rank 24th in MLB this season with a .684 OPS against right-handed pitching, but against lefties, the San Francisco lineup is 12th in MLB with a .724 OPS. The recent success both lineups have had against the opposing starter spells far more than 7.5 runs in what is a five-star play for me on Sunday night.

Opposite of our first leg, this prop is featured at -110 at DraftKings vs. -105 at FanDuel. We’ll let the final leg decide where we play it.

Heaney Over 6.5 strikeouts (-110)

In a game in which Heaney allowed four homers to the Giants a couple of weeks ago, he still flashed his elite strikeout stuff, fanning eight Giants over 5.1 innings. Heaney has piled up 84 strikeouts in 57 innings this season for a 13.3 K/9 that would easily rank as the best among MLB starters if Heaney had more innings to qualify for statistical leaderboards.

His last outing against San Diego featured Heaney’s lowest strikeout total in a month as he K’d just six batters. Heaney put up at least eight Ks in each of his four starts prior to that game and he’s cleared this 6.5 K threshold in seven of his 12 starts in 2022.

DraftKings offers Heaney seven-plus strikeouts at -130, while FanDuel has the Over 6.5 at -110. That tilts the parlay in FanDuel’s direction, +497 to +475.

Combined Odds: Dodgers -1.5 (-110) + Over 7.5 (-105) + Heaney Over 6.5 strikeouts  (-110) = +497
