A busy Friday awaits, with a full slate of games coming up tonight. In order to help you get prepared to make your final MLB picks, our handicappers have released their top picks. Are the baseball betting odds ripe for exploiting?

Philadelphia Phillies (Hernandez) vs. Washington Nationals (Fister)
Covered by Ron Patrick
The Phillies, despite losing Cliff Lee to injury early, jumped all over Gio Gonzalez and were able to hold on for the win yesterday. The Nationals, behind Doug Fister, will try to bounce back tonight.

Fister has been excellent for Washington, going 10-2 with a 2.69 ERA. It's therefore no surprise to see the hosts favored by such a large margin, with Ron opting to back them on the run-line once again.

MLB Pick: Nationals -105

New York Yankees (Capuano) vs. Boston Red Sox (Ranaudo)
Covered by Ron Patrick and Jeff Grant
The Red Sox and Yankees renew their rivalry, this coming the day after a frenzied day of deadline deals, which Boston was very much a part of. The Red Sox will be handing Anthony Ranaudo his MLB debut this evening.

As for New York, they turn to lefty Chris Capuano, who's 1-1 with a 4.30 ERA since moving to his new team. We have two different picks here, with Ron liking the Red Sox and Jeff siding with the Yankees.

MLB Pick: Ron: Red Sox -115 // Jeff: Yankees +105

Chicago Cubs (Hendricks) vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (Haren)
Covered by Willie Bee
There's no hotter team than the Dodgers in the National League. They've reeled off six straight wins, building up a 3.5-game lead on San Francisco in the process.

Los Angeles now welcomes the Cubs to Dodger Stadium, with Dan Haren and Kyle Hendricks listed as the probable starters. Willie expects runs to be put on the board and as such fancies the look of the OVER.

MLB Pick: OVER 7

Atlanta Braves (Minor) vs. San Diego Padres (Stults)
Covered by Willie Bee
The Braves didn't fare so well against the Dodgers, but one would have to think they'll have more success in San Diego this weekend.

Tonight's starting pitchers will be Mike Minor (4-6, 5.23 ERA) and Eric Stults (3-13, 5.22 ERA) and, as you can see, both hurlers have been struggling. Willie expects Atlanta to get this series started off on a positive note and will add them as road favorites.

MLB Pick: Braves -130

Colorado Rockies (Morales) vs. Detroit Tigers (Verlander)
Covered by Jeff Grant
The Tigers made one of the biggest splashes before the deadline, reaching a deal for ace left-hander David Price. He immediately makes Detroit's already strong pitching staff a heck of a lot better.

Tonight though, it's Justin Verlander on the mound, and he'll be opposed by Colorado's Franklin Morales. Detroit is understandably the biggest favorite on the MLB odds board and Jeff is opting to take them despite the huge chalk.

MLB Pick: Tigers -230

Milwaukee Brewers (Peralta) vs. St. Louis Cardinals (Wainwright)
Covered by Ross Benjamin
It was a busy deadline for the Cardinals as well, as they traded for both Justin Masterson and John Lackey to help shore up their staff.

St. Louis enters tonight's division battle holding the favorites tag, with Adam Wainwright (13-5, 1.92 ERA) hopeful he can shut down Milwaukee. Ross is all over the Cardinals as the favorites here.

MLB Pick: Cardinals -155

Pittsburgh Pirates (Volquez) vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (Nuno)
Covered by Joe Catalano
The Pirates have dropped two straight ahead of tonight's encounter with Vidal Nuno and the Diamondbacks. The MLB odds show Pittsburgh as the short road favorite.

Nuno is 0-2 with a 3.47 ERA on the year, while Pittsburgh's Edinson Volquez has gone 8-7 with a 3.87 ERA. After some deliberation, Joe believes our readers should strongly consider adding the Pirates to their MLB picks.

MLB Pick: Pirates -108
