The Yankees managed to score just a single run in dropping back-to-back games against the Indians over the weekend, including a 4-1 setback as -139 home favorites Sunday, while the 'under' has cashed in six of the last seven contests.

The Yankees are 3-6 against the Orioles, which can’t be ignored when making your MLB picks, especially since they’ve been outscored by a 44-25 margin in the season series.

Over the last two-plus seasons, the franchise is 31-37 as road underdogs of +100 to +125, with the 'over' going 37-27-4 in those 68 opportunities.

Baltimore had its three-game win streak snapped in suffering a 8-3 defeat to the St. Louis Cardinals as -125 home favorites Sunday, but it still owns a five-game lead over the Toronto Blue Jays in the American League East division standings.

The Orioles didn’t hit a home run for the first time in nine games last time out, which is important to consider when looking over the MLB betting odds, but they still pace all teams with 147 round trippers on the year.

MLB handicappers will find that the club is 12-6 as home favorites of -125 to -150 this season, with the 'under' going 9-8-1 in that situation.

Chris Capuano (1-2, 3.91 ERA) has put together a 0-1 record and 2.84 ERA in three starts as a member of the New York Yankees since being acquired from the Colorado Rockies on July 24.

The left-hander is 1-1 with a 5.84 ERA in 18 road games (one start), with opposing hitters batting .284 against him (.240 at home).

Capuano has compiled a 4.91 ERA in three career appearances against the Orioles.

Orioles starting pitcher Bud Norris (9-7, 3.68 ERA) picked up a 9-3 road victory over the Toronto Blue Jays last time out, as he surrendered two runs and seven hits over 5.1 innings of work.

The right-hander is 4-2 with a 2.61 ERA in eight home appearances—serving up just four long balls in 51.2 combined frames.

In his only lifetime start versus the Yankees on June 21 in the Bronx, Norris gave up just one earned run in five innings.

I’m going to recommend that readers back the Orioles as one of their MLB picks, as they’ve gone 36-16 in their last 52 games following a loss.
