Our MLB consultant takes a look at Sunday’s game between the Yankees & White Sox. Join us in reading his betting preview article that culminates with a superb 45-10 money line betting angle.

Yankees and White Sox in Series Finale
The Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees will conclude a three game series on Sunday at US Cellular Field in Chicago. The first pitch is scheduled for 2:10 PM ET. These teams split the first two games with New York winning 13-6 on Friday, and Chicago took Saturday’s affair by a convincing 9-2 score. Chicago is 6-3 at home versus New York since 2013, and these clubs have gone 10-5 over the total in their fifteen overall encounters during the last three seasons.

Starting Pitchers
Right-hander Ivan Nova will get the start on Sunday for New York. Nova began the season on the disabled list, and since being activated, he’s posted a solid 3.37 ERA in six starts.

Chicago will go with Jeff Samardzija on the mound today. The White Sox right-hander has gone 6-3 during his home team starts in 2015 with a stellar 2.86 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and nearly a 5:1 strikeout to walk ratio. Samardzija’s only career start versus the Yankees came last season, and he tossed 7.0 innings of scoreless baseball in that outing.

Both Clubs on a recent Similar Path
There are a lot of similarities between the Yankees and White Sox recently. New York is averaging an outstanding 7.5 runs per game in their last ten. Chicago isn’t far behind in that regard by averaging 7.1 runs per outing in their previous ten games. New York has a superb .310 team batting average over their previous seven games, and Chicago has been even better at .321 during that same time frame. New York has gone 8-2 over the total in their last ten, and Chicago has gone over the total in six consecutive games. Finally, New York is 17-8 in their last twenty-five games, and Chicago has won eight of their previous ten contests.

MLB Money Line Betting System

  • The Yankees Ivan Nova has a 1.30 WHIP during his starts this season.
  • According to current MLB betting odds at Youwager, the White Sox are a -125 money line favorite on Sunday.
  • The White Sox have a team on base percentage (OBP) of just .298 in 2015.

Any money line home favorite (White Sox) of -110 or more in August, possessing a team OBP of .310 or less, and is facing an American League starting pitcher with a WHIP of 1.30 or less, resulted in the home team going a magnificent 42-8 (84%) since 2011.

This system actually came up twice on Saturday and went 2-0. In a very tough call, this highly profitable MLB betting angle became a deciding factor when making one of my MLB picks for Sunday. The money line I earlier alluded to at Youwager was the best in terms of value for wagering on Chicago.
