These teams have split the first two games of this series, after LA's 5-4 victory in 19 innings Saturday night. But we're 0/2 on our free MLB picks. We'll try to salvage one win with a free pick on Sunday's rubber match (3:35 pm ET).

Sunday's Betting Lines
As of early Sunday AM Los Angeles and Hector Santiago were favored by around -150 over Boston and Rubby De La Rosa, with a total of 8.5 runs. The Angels could also be found at around +145 giving the run and a half on the run line.

Saturday Re-Hash
LA grabbed an early 2-0 lead, which held until the top of the seventh, when Boston scored three runs,  two unearned, to take a 3-2. But Mike Trout tied it with a solo homer in the bottom of the eighth. Both teams then scored once in the 14th, before the Angels won it on an Albert Pujols dong leading off the bottom of the 19th inning.

LA won as a -185 favorite on Saturday's MLB betting line, but to our dismay couldn't cover on the run line.

The Angels outhit the Red Sox 15-6, but left 16 runners on base, nine in scoring position.

Sunday's Starters
Santiago (3-7, 3.84), by our tough standards, is just 3/15 on quality starts this season, although he's been somewhat effective as of late. Last time out he gave up three ER in 5 1/3 innings against the Dodgers, and since the All-Star break he's allowed just four ER through 20 1/3 innings.

For the season the Santiago has allowed 74 hits in 84 innings, walked 33 and struck out 73. But the Angels are just 5-10 in Santiago's starts.

Santiago, pitching for the White Sox, started twice against the Red Sox last year, allowing six runs and eight hits, with nine walks, through 9 2/3 innings; Chicago lost both those games.

De La Rosa (3-4, 3.43) is 5/10 on quality starts, but only one for his last three. Last time out he held St. Louis to one run through six innings, but in his two starts previous to that, both against Toronto, he gave up nine ER and 18 hits through 10 innings.

On the season De La Rosa has allowed 60 hits in 60 innings, walked 19 and struck out 40. The Sox are 4-6 in De La Rosa's starts, with the totals skewing toward the 'unders' by a 7-1 margin.

This will be De La Rosa's first start against the Angels since 2011, when he was with the Dodgers.

Free Pick for Sunday
We'll call the pitching match-up about a wash, so it looks like the value on the line sides with Boston. So we'll take the Red Sox, getting +140 at BetDSI, for our free MLB pick on Sunday's game.
