Watch how a Pro Sports Handicapper provides a look at MLB Overnight Betting Lines for the games taking place on Tuesday, and comes out with two winning MLB Picks.

Kansas City Royals vs. Baltimore Orioles
Ubaldo Jimenez has been a ‘bet against’ pitcher for weeks for me and I’m not abandoning that ship here on Tuesday night as he takes the mound once again. Jimenez has yielded 5+ runs in five consecutive starts allowing 28 runs in 21.2 innings during that span with 16 walks and 13 strikeouts.

Jimenez also has an ugly track record against the Royals--16 runs surrendered in 16.2 innings of work in three starts against them since 2014. However, Yordano Ventura his mound opponent for the Royals is not overly trustworthy these days either. Ventura has a 5.06 ERA in 6 road starts this season and has struggled mightily with his control with 23 walks and 17 strikeouts in 32 innings pitched away from home.

He has labored in two previous starts at Camden Yards allowing 8 runs on 13 hits in just 11.1 innings and both of those games soared Over the total posted by the MLB Odds. I expect a similar result here and I will endorse this game to go up and Over the total of 9 runs.

Oakland Athletics vs. Milwaukee Brewers
After a rough beginning to his Major League tenure with Oakland, Sean Manaea may be showing signs of flashing the potential the Athletics saw in him when they traded for him with the Royals last year. Manaea has really started to turn things around over his last few starts allowing 3 runs or less in three of his last four starts with a much better 8 walks to 19 strikeouts during that span.

His road ERA shows 27.00 but it was one rotten start against the vert potent Boston Red Sox lineup that is skewing his road ERA number. He should find it to be a much more manageable matchup in Milwaukee against a Brewers team hitting just .230 against lefties this season. After facing some tough AL lineups in his first 7 starts in the big leagues, this should be a bit of a step down in class for Manaea here against Milwaukee and I think there is a ‘buy ‘sign right now on this promising young lefty for the Athletics.

On the flip side, Zach Davies is coming off a very surprising domination of the St. Louis Cardinals in his last start throwing 8 innings of shutout baseball but before we get too excited over that outing, it’s worth noting Davies still has very mediocre peripheral numbers. His ERA is 4.53 and his FIP and xFIP are right in line with it. His walks (2.72) per 9 innings and strikeouts (6.89) per 9 innings are both mediocre at best and his swinging strike rate has dropped from 10% in 2015 to 8% this season.

I like the plus price underdog MLB Pick with Sean Manaea and the Athletics in this game to open up this Interleague series with a victory. With the way Sean Manaea is starting to settle in as a starter, there is a chance that he could offer betting value and be a ‘bet on’ starter for Oakland in the weeks to come.
