The Grand Finale of the Series
The A’s will host the Orioles on Sunday afternoon in Oakland with the first pitch slated for 4:05 PM ET. According to MLB betting odds Oakland is a -165 money line home favorite and the posted total is 7.5. This will be the final of a 3-game weekend series between these two division leaders.

The Starting Pitchers
The Baltimore Orioles will go with the youngster Kevin Gausman on the mound this afternoon. Since being called up from the minors Gausman has gone 5-2 against the money line, including 5-1 in his last 6 with a stellar 2.36 ERA. However, the Orioles right-hander has struggled a bit in day games posting a lofty 4.87 ERA in 4-starts. He did make one start this season against Oakland and it came on June 7th in Baltimore. In that outing he allowed just 1 earned run, 4-hits, struck out 6, and walked only 1 during a 6-3 Orioles win.

The A’s counter with a youngster of their own Sonny Gray. The Oakland right-hander has gone 13-6 against the money line this season with a very good 2.79 ERA. Gray has displayed terrific form in his previous 3-starts posting a microscopic 0.83 while going a perfect 3-0 against the money line. The bad news is that Gray has gone 0-2 against the money line in his career versus the Orioles with a monster 11.43 ERA and 2.08 WHIP. Both of those starts have come since 2013.

Note to Sports Bettors: Due to the size of the juice we’re being asked to lay, I would suggest wagering what you normally would play to win on Oakland to reduce the sports gambling risk.

MLB Betting Example: If you normally play to win $200, then just wager $200 on Oakland to make $121.
