Our MLB handicapper scans the board for some serious totals trends in play on Monday and brings us a trio of totals picks with value for your wagering card.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Oakland Athletics
This is a pick rooted in the depths of a very strong trend for the Orioles, as Baltimore has cashed the Under in 21 of the last 25 games. They’ll be coming into this game after a flight from Chicago, as their road trip continues on the West Coast.

Kevin Gausman takes the mound for the Orioles in this game, and is coming off of a strong 7 innings, 2 earned run performance against the Texas Rangers. Kendall Graveman starts for Oakland and is coming into this game after a hiccup following a very strong stretch where he didn’t lose games since mid-May. He’s been strong most of the year but did get lit up by Baltimore earlier in the year for 4 home runs.

Oakland is 23-29 O-U at home and 34-44 O-U against right-handed starters, so Oakland’s trends favor the Under as well. I don’t see a reason not to tail the Under here an 8.5 at -115 at 5Dimes on Monday night - one of my MLB Picks.

Free MLB Pick: Under 8.5 -115
Best Line Offered: at 5Dimes

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Toronto Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays come into this game having cashed 8 Unders in a row. That trend didn’t just start either, as the Blue Jays are a strong 43-63 O-U on the season, even after averaging 4.8 runs per game. Part of the reason is their pitching of course, as they only give up 4.0 runs per game overall.

Knuckleballer, R.A. Dickey, of the Blue Jays has been pretty bad in his last three starts, putting up a 7.47 ERA, but has also posted an 8-12 O-U record on the season. He’ll face a Tampa Bay offense that is 33-46 O-U against right-handers, 33-50 SU for -23 units, and average just 3.7 runs per game.

If anybody can screw this pick up it would be Tampa Bay starter, Jake Odorizzi. However, Odorizzi has a very good history with against the Blue Jays in recent starts and has posted a career ERA of 3.33 against the Canadians.

The line on this game has been moving to the Under, as it opened at 9 -105 just to move to -120 already at books such as BetOnline. I would take the Under in this one quickly as the line could move to 8.5 runs, which would deflate the value of the pick. I’m grabbing Under 9 runs at -110 at Heritage while I still can.

Free MLB Pick: Under 9 -110
Best Line Offered: at Heritage

Texas Rangers vs. Colorado Rockies
The Texas Rangers came into Sunday with seven Unders in a row, but pushed the total at Houston instead of making it eight in a row. They now start a pretty weird 4 game series with the Colorado Rockies, with 2 games in Colorado followed up by 2 games in Arlington.

Starting in this game for the Rangers is Cole Hamels, who has posted a 1.90 ERA and 1.10 WHIP on the road this year while putting up an 8-2 win-loss record. The Rockies counter with Tyler Anderson, who has put up a 2.84 ERA in his last three starts and a solid 3.32 ERA at Coors Field.

I wouldn’t trust the Ranger offense to get the over in this one, as they are in a major funk right now. I’m taking Under the inflated total of 10.5 runs with MLB odds -109 at Pinnacle with two solid pitchers starting this game, even in Colorado.

Free MLB Pick: Under 10.5 -109
Best Line Offered: at Pinnacle
2016 YTD MLB: 44-29-4, +13.21 Units
