After yet another successful day in the MLB, readers should be raking in the profits if they’ve been following my betting picks. It’s not too late to get in on the action. Time for Wednesday’s picks of the day.

Joe C. Record: 144-129 -18.44 Units
I’m a streaky player that feeds off of momentum. We’re at the point where we expect to win. I picked up 2 more units yesterday and was very close to picking up 4.5 units.

I tend to take risks with teams like the Texas Rangers when I feel confident about my other picks. Also, go back to my article yesterday and read my reference to J.P Arcenbia playing well against the Yankees. He only had 2 home runs and 7 runs batted in (wink, wink)  As they say in the NFL, let’s smack the bookmakers in the mouth today!

Atlanta Braves (58-49) vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (60-47)
Late Game Rally
Thanks to 2 home runs by Matt Kemp and 4 hits by Yasiel Puig, the Los Angeles Dodgers flew past the Atlanta Braves to defeat them 8-4 yesterday. Matt Kemp was once the main man on this team, but ever since he endured a quadricep injury, he’s not been an MVP-like player anymore and this has been Yasiel Puig’s team. Kemp wants a trade, but after games like yesterday, he might re-think that demand.

Zack Attack
The great Greinke (12-6, 2.74) is back to his old form and is definitely on my radar. He starts tonight for the Dodgers and Atlanta should have a tough time dealing with the talented veteran. After a few average outings, Greinke came out strong against the San Francisco Giants on July 25th by allowing just 4 hits and striking out 10 batters in 7 innings in an 8-1 victory. If Greinke pitches like he did earlier in the season, and I expect him to, Freddie Freeman, Justin Upton, and the rest of the Atlanta Braves will be looking at another loss.

The Dodgers offense has caught on fire with everyone from Dee Gordon to Jose Uribe seeing the baseball well. Atlanta is a tough team, but I’m going to ride my momentum and make this a 2- unit selection in favor of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Seattle Mariners (55-51) vs. Cleveland Indians (52-54)
All About the Pitching
You have two of the hottest pitchers in baseball facing eachother in this game tonight as “King” Felix Heranandez (11-2, 1.99) and the Seattle Mariners take on the very formidable Corey Kluber (10-6, 2.77) and the inconsistent Cleveland Indians. This is a fairly even matchup as the Mariners have been slightly better this season than the Tribe, but Cleveland has home field advantage.

Kluber or Clobber?
We already know what Hernandez can do as he’s the best pitcher in the American League for the last decade, but Corey Kluber has been flying under the radar and “clobbering” opponents.

Kluber is coming off of a complete game effort in which he allowed just 1 run on 2 hits and he still couldn’t pick up the win. This is telling me that we might have to look at the betting total.

In his last 7 starts (52 2/3 innings), Kluber has allowed just 10 earned runs and in one of those starts he allowed 4 runs. Simply stated, he’s been quite effective on a team in which he can’t count on offensively. The under looks good in this spot. Although the betting total is quite low at 6 ½ runs, Seattle has an average lineup at best and the Indians offense should be shut down by Felix Hernandez.

Free MLB Pick: Cleveland/Seattle Under 6 ½ -113 at 5 Dimes sportsbook
