Tampa Bay Rays (Archer) vs. New York Yankees (Phelps) 7:05 PM ET
The Rays starter Chris Archer is 4-0 in his career team starts versus the Yankees with a stellar 1.26 ERA, a 0.63 WHIP, and a 6:1 strikeout to walk ratio. All 4 of those starts have come since the beginning of the 2013 season. Archer has been brilliant in his last 8 starts posting an excellent 1.51 ERA.  Archer has gone 10-4 in his last 14 team starts versus AL East opponents. The Tampa right-hander has seen 8 of his last 9 starts on the road go under the total versus an opponent with a winning record.

The Yankees starter David Phelps has been shaky over his last 5-starts posting a lofty 6.23 ERA. Phelps has gone a dismal 1-7 in his last 8 team starts when the total is 7.0 to 8.5.

Advantage: Chris Archer

In 2 career starts versus the Angels Noesi has posted a sizable 6.75 ERA, and allowed 3 home runs in 12.0 innings.

The Angels starter Garrett Richards enters tonight red-hot. The right-hander has gone 5-0 in his last 5 team starts with an excellent 1.05 ERA.
