Our fantasy golf power rankings for the 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship highlight the golfers at the top of the odds lists and pinpoint who to target in your pools this week.

While this is the first season the FedEx Cup Playoffs will open at TPC Southwind in Memphis, TN, the course has been in the rotation for years and served as host of a World Golf Championships event the past three seasons.

The par-70 track is a tough test and features a number of dangerous water hazards. In fact, there have been more balls hit in the water at TPC Southwind since 2003 than any other course on tour.

Fittingly for the playoff opener, it's a stacked field with all four of this year's major champions in the field. Dustin Johnson is the only top-20 player in the Official World Golf Rankings not teeing it up at TPC Southwind this week.

Here's a peek at the top of the odds for the FedEx St. Jude Championship (odds via from BetMGMDraftKings SportsbookFanDuel Sportsbook).

FedEx St. Jude Championship Fantasy Power Rankings

10. Joohyung Kim

Quickly proving the stage isn't too big and appearing to be on the brink of superstardom, the 20-year-old has fired final rounds of 63 and 61 in his past two events. His win at the Wyndham Championship was all the more impressive after opening the tournament with a quadruple bogey and then playing the following 71 holes at minus-24. His solo third-place finish at the Genesis Scottish Open was also in a stacked field. Kim is legit.

9. Tony Finau

Finau took a well-deserved week off after winning the 3M Open and Rocket Mortgage Classic in consecutive weeks. He's up to 52 top-10 finishes through 213 career events. While his best finish at TPC Southwind is a 27th-place result at the 2019 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, the 32-year-old's ball-striking statistics this season jump off the page. He's fifth in strokes gained: tee-to-green and 12th in SG: total. Finau also ranks 11th in scoring average for the year.

8. Sungjae Im

A ho-hum Sunday prevented Im from capturing his second victory of the season last week, but he's now finished T-2 in consecutive events and stands to have another solid showing at the FedEx St. Jude. Im ranks ninth in SG: off-the-tee, seventh in SG: around-the-green, 10th in SG: tee-to-green, and currently ranks 10th in the FedEx Cup Standings.

7. Xander Schauffele

Since winning the Zurich Classic of New Orleans team event, Schauffele has won two more times and finished inside the top-20 in each of his past eight tournaments. He ranks seventh in scoring average for the season and fourth in SG: total. Schauffele also finished sixth at the 2020 WGC-FedEx St. Jude and has played the weekend in all four of his trips to TPC Southwind.

6. Cameron Smith

With three wins and seven top-10 finishes across just 16 events, Smith is having the best season of his career. He also finished fifth at TPC Southwind in his last visit to the venue. The Aussie ranks third in scoring average, 12th in SG: putting, and 11th in SG: total, and he should be well rested after last teeing it up to win The Open Championship in mid-July.

5. Patrick Cantlay

The reigning FedEx Cup champion has six consecutive top-15 finishes with three top-5 results. He's also fifth in scoring average, seventh in SG: total, and ninth in SG: putting. He doesn't have outstanding course history at TPC Southwind, with a 12th-place finish his best outcome in his three trips.

4. Justin Thomas

The winner of the 2020 WGC-FedEx St. Jude, Thomas enters the playoffs ranking fifth in scoring average, fifth in SG: approach, and third in both SG: tee-to-green and SG: total. Just note, he's not in the best current form with a T-37 his best result through his past three events.

3. Scottie Scheffler

It's possible Scheffler might have already peaked this season when winning four times over a six-tournament span. Still, it's awfully tough to overlook how consistent he's been and how well-rounded his game is. Scheffler has 16 top-25 results through 22 events, and he ranks fourth in scoring average and fifth in SG: total, after all.

2. Rory McIlroy

This will be McIlroy's sixth tournament at TPC Southwind, and he's made the cut in each of his first five visits while also carding two top-10 finishes. He's statistically superior, ranking first in scoring average and first in SG: total. He's also been incredibly consistent with just a single missed cut across 13 tournaments, eight top-10 finishes, and 11 top-25 results.

1. Jon Rahm

Overall, it was a disappointing regular season for Rahm, as his lone win came in a weak field at the Mexico Open at Vidanta. However, he's in position to make a playoff push after making 15 consecutive cuts with 10 top-25 finishes. There's potential for positive regression on the greens, too. Rahm currently ranks 62nd with .202 strokes gained: putting. He posted .331 and .479 marks the previous two seasons.
