It has been three years since the LPGA visited Canada, but the CP Women's Open will take place at the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club in Ottawa, Ontario this week. We analyze the CP Women’s Open tournament odds and pick our favorite outright bets.

Jin Young Ko won the 2019 CP Women's Open, which was the last time it was played due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was won by Ko by five strokes after she shot an eight-under 64 on the final day.

It is worth noting that Ko is the defending champion, but this year's CP Women's Open will be held at a different golf course than last time.

Here are my top picks for the CP Women's Open, to be held at the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club in Ottawa, Ontario (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook and BetRivers).

CP Women’s Open: Favorites

Henderson (+1000 via DraftKings)

Brooke Henderson is the most popular Canadian golfer on any tour and is in excellent form heading into the tournament. Henderson recently won a major championship at the Evian Championship, followed by a top-10 finish at the AIG Women's Open.

In terms of Strokes Gained (SG): total on the season, Henderson ranks third on the LPGA and I am genuinely surprised that her odds didn't open shorter than +1000. This is something I would grab early as I anticipate it will move since Henderson will represent a major liability for sportsbooks in this market this week.

Ko (+1600 via BetRivers)

The price of +1600 is far too high for the World No. 1 to be trading at during this tournament. Since the CP Women's Open is being held at a different golf course, betting on Ko has nothing to do with her previous success at this event. This Ko bet is all about the +1600 price point at BetRivers.

Ko is the top golfer on the LPGA, which is why I place a high value on the +1600 price point.

CP Women’s Open: Contenders

Thompson (+2500 via BetRivers)

In this line, the sportsbooks are showing a great deal of disrespect for Lexi Thompson, as she should not be opening at +2500 in this field. Thompson ranks fourth on the LPGA in SG: total and has finished in the top five in five of the 11 tournaments she has competed in this season.

I absolutely love the number you are getting here on Thompson, who is being faded by the sportsbooks.

Kim (+5000 via BetRivers)

The bet on Sei Young Kim is 100% a play on the price, as there is a substantial difference between her odds at DraftKings and BetRivers.

At DraftKings, Kim is available at +1800, while at BetRivers, she is trading at +5000. In an outright market for golf, this is uncommon, and I am not even certain if I have ever seen a price gap this large for one of the favorites. While Kim has not been as sharp as she has been in the past, her average of 1.13 SG: total on the season is much better than her price point of +5000 implies.

CP Women’s Open: Longshot

Stephanie Kyriacou (+18000 via DraftKings)

A rookie on the LPGA, Stephanie Kyriacou has made great strides after missing several cuts earlier in the season. Kyriacou finished T-10 at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship on June 23 and then finished T-7 at the AIG Women's Open on Aug. 4. As a result of her balanced game, Kyriacou is gaining strokes in all four major categories this season.

Compared to BetRivers who has Kyriacou trading at +10000, DraftKings is offering you an extra 80 dollars in her price point.
