FanDuel Sportsbook has boosted the odds that the New York Rangers, Florida Panthers, and Colorado Avalanche will win their respective playoff games on Thursday. This article discusses some of the most profitable odds boosts available at our top-rated U.S. sportsbooks for Thursday's action.

Wednesday was a difficult night for the odds boosts as we went 0-for-2 with our picks. Despite Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic's 35 points, we did not get the triple-double that we coveted in order to cash in on our boosted odds via PointsBet. We also suffered a loss in the NHL, when the Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Boston Bruins, but more than six goals were scored in total.

Picks for Thursday's Top Odds Boosts

Rangers, Panthers, and Avalanche all to win

The pressure is on the Panthers as they lost Game 1 to the Washington Capitals by a score of 4-2. The Panthers were -250 home favorites in Game 1, and they are an even bigger favorite in Game 2 at -265.

In my Stanley Cup Playoffs bracket, I predicted that the Avalanche would defeat the Nashville Predators in five games. I did not predict that the Avalanche would accomplish this in five minutes. The Avs crushed the Predators in Game 1 with five goals in the first period, and as a result, they are -400 favorites in Game 2 after being -320 in Game 1.

MacKinnon to score and Avalanche to win

The Avalanche buried the Predators in Game 1. In the first period, the Avalanche scored five goals and defeated the Predators 7-2.

For Game 2, the Avalanche opened as -350 home favorites and have since gone up to -400 at various sportsbooks. As of Thursday afternoon, 80% of the cash and 91% of the tickets are on Colorado.

MacKinnon scored two goals, added an assist, and had six shots on goal in Game 1. The most intriguing aspect of this boost is the correlation between the two legs of the parlay. The Avalanche are 19-6 this season when MacKinnon scores a goal.

The New York Mets will be +150 road favorites against the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday. Taijuan Walker will take the mound for the Mets, and he will be opposed by Aaron Nola for the Phillies.

Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor has a batting average of .243 and 15 RBI to his name. Lindor and the Mets will be facing Nola for the third time this season. The Mets are already 2-0 against Nola and have tagged him for three earned runs in each game.

Since I have already placed a wager on the Mets' moneyline for this game at +150, it is easy to understand why I am attracted to PointsBet's odds boost.
