On Thursday, August 19th, Call of Duty: Warzone players were treated to a first look at the upcoming COD: Vanguard title which will be featured inside the Warzone game. Mark your calendars, as on November 5th of this year, the game returns to WWII as a backdrop for Call of Duty: Vanguard.

I know what you’re thinking, the WWII theme has been utilized on a multitude of occasions throughout several titles, but Sledgehammer Games is taking a purposeful look into the teams. These squads will be known as special forces, and their notion is that a small team attempts unravel a secret plot. In addition, Call of Duty: Vanguard will explore previously featured environments as well as a number of other fronts and theatres.

Fluent experience

A single-player and multiplayer campaign mode will head to North Africa, the Eastern Front, the Western Front, and the Pacific. Vanguard creators intend for 60FPS (Sixty frames-per-second) across all platforms in order to deliver a fluent combat experience for all customers. While Sledgehammer is spearheading the campaign mode, Treyarch will extend their zombie talents to the title for its Zombies mode, and Raven will deliver a brand-new Warzone map.

With a plethora of Call of Duty studios combining their talents this time around, it’s not only a refreshing and intriguing lead-up to the game, but it could deliver one of the most extraordinary Call of Duty titles in franchise history.

New Modes

Call of Duty: Vanguard Campaign Mode

The campaign mode will see players take on the role of a specialized squad heading into the heart of Berlin, where they’ll discover the horrific truths behind the Phoenix Project. Think Inglorious Basterds, and your mind will be on the right track. Taking a role in shaping the future of the Nazis and the Reich following Hitler’s fall sounds like fun. Most of the story is historically inspired with significant liberties taking inspiration from the actual past.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Multiplayer

Fans should get excited for a substantial number of new maps: a total of 20 will be deployed on launch. And, of course, a bunch of new elements will keep Vanguard feeling fresh, even for veteran players.

Responsive environments will see the utilization of bookcases, walls, boards, and windows to create additional sightlines, making prior safe locations dangerous and keeping the game compelling. Also, a brand-new setting called Combat Pacing will be a quickplay option.

There are three “combat paces” to play with. Choosing your combat pace is simple like any other setting from the quickplay button; it allows players to find a game that suits you alongside your other standard parameters. Perhaps you enjoy setting up the perfect sniping ranges, or maybe you want to rush into the fray; combat pacing will help you find your favorite style with traditional multiplayer elements remaining.

Finally, a new gameplay mode, Champion Hill, is an 8-player team spectacular where players will battle down to the last remaining team.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Conclusion

Sledgehammer will spearhead the campaign, Treyarch has Zombies covered, and Raven will deliver the Warzone, so expect Call of Duty: Vanguard to provide the goods. That’s all for now but remember to check back soon for the latest news regarding Esports wagering.
