The Oklahoma State Cowboys are a perfect 7-0 both SU and ATS in their last seven head-to-head meetings against the West Virginia Mountaineers. Who will prevail when the Cowboys host the Mountaineers Saturday? Read on for our best Oklahoma vs. West Virginia picks.

A pair of Big 12 teams looking to finish off the regular season meet Saturday as the Mountaineers take on the Cowboys.

West Virginia (5-6 ATS, 6-5 O/U) had hopes of playing in a bowl game dashed last week in a home loss to Kansas State. Although that didn’t go as planned, the Mountaineers took some of the top Big 12 teams to the brink already this season, including unbeaten TCU.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma State (6-5 ATS, 6-5 O/U) lost three of its last four games following a 6-1 start. The Cowboys got behind big early in last week’s rivalry game against Oklahoma. Despite recent struggles, the Pokes are still perfect at home this year.

Here are our top college football West Virginia vs. Oklahoma Week 13 betting picks (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook and PointsBet; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5 star scale).

West Virginia vs. Oklahoma State Odds

West Virginia vs. Oklahoma State Odds Analysis

Oddsmakers first opened Oklahoma State as a nine-point favorite for Saturday’s regular-season finale. Line movement has been minimal in the lead-up to the game. The consensus point spread at the time of writing has only moved half a point in West Virginia’s favor relative to the opening line.

It is worth noting bettors can find deviations in the spread up to one full point depending on the sportsbook. At DraftKings, where the line is only Oklahoma State -7.5, roughly 70% of all ATS bets and the total handle are on the Cowboys.

As for the game total, an opening line of 67.5 is nothing more than a distant memory. The market has moved significantly in favor of the Under throughout the week. The result is a current consensus line of 63. Despite the line move in excess of four points, the ticket count is practically even at DraftKings.

West Virginia vs. Oklahoma State ATS Pick

West Virginia +8.5 (-110) ★

There’s no denying West Virginia is an ugly betting underdog. The Mountaineers’ defense has been atrocious all season long, and their offense only got worse as the year went on.

After weeks of ineffective play, Georgia transfer JT Daniels lost the starting quarterback job altogether. Signs point towards West Virginia once again starting sophomore Garrett Greene Saturday. Whether or not that helps or hurts the Mountaineers' O-line is an open question.

The primary reason for taking WVU plus the points has more to do with what Oklahoma State isn’t than what West Virginia is. The Cowboys have been overrated and over ranked in national polls all season.

Injuries completely ravaged head coach Mike Gundy’s team. As a result, Oklahoma State lost by double-digits in three of its last four matchups. As bad as West Virginia’s defense is, Oklahoma State’s hasn’t been much better against some of the Big 12's most prolific offenses.

With health a major concern for the Pokes, take a shot on the road underdog to stay within the number in WVU’s final game of the year.

West Virginia vs. Oklahoma State O/U Pick

Over 62.5 (-105) ★★

Despite Oklahoma State’s injury-riddled offense, one has to believe Cowboys quarterback Spencer Sanders can still carve up West Virginia's porous D.

The Mountaineers rank 111th nationally in adjusted defensive efficiency. It's the worst of any Big 12 team, but also one of the five worst Power 5 school rankings. West Virginia’s opponents failed to score at least 31 points in only three games all season!

The Cowboys' O-line really slowed down recently. After scoring no less than 34 points in each of its first seven contests, OSU hasn't exceeded 20 points in any of its last four. Even so, matchups against Kansas State, Iowa State and Oklahoma all came against much better defenses than the Pokes face Saturday.

Although West Virginia's quarterback position is suspect, it's still a favorable matchup. Okie State allowed an FBS second-most opponent passing yards per game (300.8).

Bettors should also expect a whole lot of plays to be run in this matchup. Oklahoma State averages college football's second-most plays per game while West Virginia ranks 35th. The tempo that both teams play with goes a long way toward offsetting any impact rainy weather might have on the betting total's outcome.

West Virginia vs. Oklahoma State Prop Pick

Oklahoma State team total: 31-40 (+220) ★★

Across the college football betting market, sportsbooks list Oklahoma State’s team total prop line at 36.5. As that's right in the middle of the 31-40-point band, it makes sense to take a shot at the favorable odds PointsBet offers on this alternative team total prop.

Of course, West Virginia gave up more than 40 points in half of its games against FBS-level competition. However, few teams are battling as many injuries as the Cowboys. Throw in the likelihood of rain and 40 points is a pretty realistic ceiling for what OSU can score.
