Eastern Michigan have lost 5 straight games & it looks like they're headed for a 6th over massive fave Western Michigan. Read our article to find our free college football pick.

Kickoff is set for Thursday,October 29th, 7:30 p.m. EST at Rynearson Stadium in Ypsilanti, Michigan. According to 5Dimes, this game should be a blowout as Western Michigan is a 20 point betting favorite.

Eastern Michigan has an average, but well balanced offfense. The problem with this team is their defense as they allow 44.5 points per game. Any team that allows that many points will come up on the short end of the stick almost every game.

Eagles Offense
The running game is Eastern Michigan's bread and butter as they have two big-time runners in Darius Jackson (799 yards, 12 TD's) and Shaq Vann (476 yards, 5 TD's). Both runners average 5.5 yards per carry or more. Jackson is a senior who has finally gotten his time to play. It might not translate to wins for Eastern Michigan, but he's rushed for 100 yards or more in 4 of his last 5 games and has scored a touchdown in 7 out of 8 games. I don't see offense being a concern for the Eagles against the Broncos.

Freshman, Eddie Daugherty, is Brogan Roback's favorite target ,but Roback has had a problem turning the ball over while Daugherty has been a bit inconsistent offensively. Roback doesn't have the talent to play against the big schools. Just two weeks ago the Eagles played the nationally ranked Toledo Rockets and Roback was just 7 for 11 for 55 yards in the 63-20 Toledo victory. If the Eagles run the football more often, it's to their advantage and they have a better chance of keeping this game closer as they're playing at home.

An Important Game
No need for me to tell you that this is an important game on the road for the Broncos and this is a game that they should win as they possess a respectable defense which allows under 30 points per game and a passing game that averages 261.3 yards though the air.

Daniel Braverman
Braverman should have a field day as this is a receiver that has already caught 75 balls for 849 yards and 11 TD's this season. This is just about half of quarterback, Zach Terrell's passing yards as Terrell has thrown at a nearly 70% completion rate with 20 TD and 6 INT.

Terrell also has Corey Davis, who has for caught 564 yards and 5 TD's. This coming after a 1400 yards season in his sophomore season. You add in the rushing of running back Jarvion Franklin, who rushed for over 1500 yards last season and I can see Western Michigan putting a 50 spot up against the helpless Eagles.

This is the perfect matchup for the Broncos and look for them to run up the score and impress the pollsters. We must remember that 2 of their losses came against top 25 opponents including a loss to the #1 Ohio State Buckeyes. Against the college football odds our college football pick will be the Broncos on Thursday night
