College Football Round Robin Parlay
The upcoming paragraphs detail three of my college football picks for Saturday. I’m going to take these three selections and play them in a trio of two-team parlays, otherwise known as a round robin. Quite simply, if you win on two of the three picks, then you walk away with a small profit. The best case scenario of course is winning all three, in which instance, you’ve then hit the jackpot. I never play parlays in any other way, and always refrain from adding a three-teamer to the mix.

Boston College vs. Louisville 12:30 PM ET
Boston College had allowed 14 points or less in their first six games this season. That string of stellar defensive performances was spoiled in last week’s 34-14 loss at Clemson. Giving up 34 points to Clemson may be considered a pretty good day by most defenses, but not one the caliber that Boston College possesses. The flip side to that equation, their offense is a pretty inept group. Boston College is averaging a paltry 8.2 points per game against the five FBS opponents they faced this season. They scored 17 points or less in each of those contests.

The Louisville defense is much better than their statistical data would suggest. The only games in which they were truly lit up this season were versus Houston and Florida State. It would be safe to say, the Boston College offense isn’t nowhere near as talented or dynamic compared to either one of those teams.

I like this game to be a low scoring affair for one of my college football picks.

Virginia vs. North Carolina 3:30 PM ET
North Carolina opened the season with a narrow 17-13 loss to South Carolina. That loss came as a direct result of 3 offensive turnovers that all occurred in the red zone. Since that time, the Tar Heels have reeled off 5 wins in a row, and that includes last Saturday’s 50-14 shellacking of Wake Forest. As a matter of fact, since that loss to South Carolina, they’ve averaged a robust 46.0 points and 470.6 yards per game.

Virginia is 2-4 this season. Their only victories came over William & Mary 35-29, and then last Saturday in a come from behind 44-38 overtime win over Syracuse. Both of those contests were played at home, and William and Mary competes at the FCS level.

College Football Pick: Play on North Carolina -17.5 at BetCRIS

Tennessee vs. Alabama 3:30 PM ET
The Crimson Tide has been rolling since suffering their only loss this season to Ole Miss in early September. They’re currently ranked #8 and are very much alive in the national championship picture. The Alabama defense has allowed 86 yards rushing or less in six of seven games this year. That’s not good news for Tennessee considering they rely heavily on a power running game. The Volunteers passing attack is only effective when its running game is successful. That formula isn’t going to work on Saturday in Tuscaloosa. According to college football odds at Pinnacle, they offer us the best combination of number and price.

College Football Pick: Play on Alabama -15 (-106) at Pinnacle
