Our handicapper went 4-1 ATS with his five upset alerts last week. He’s back with three more for Saturday. Go inside to find out what games he’s looking at, and why he loves these college football picks.

College Football Upset Alerts
I’ve isolated three games on Saturday’s huge college football card in which the underdogs have a realistic chance of pulling an outright upset. I certainly wouldn’t be shocked at all if all three of these underdogs win outright. However, we’ll take the points afforded us according to college football odds as an additional bonus.

Wisconsin vs. Illinois 3:30 PM ET
Illinois has gone a perfect 4-0 at home this season. During those four home games, they’ve allowed just 10.9 points and 272.3 yards per contest. As a matter of fact, dating back to last season, they’ve won five in a row at Memorial Stadium in Champaign, and are 9-2 in its last 11 home games.

During their last five games, Wisconsin is averaging a rather lackluster 21.8 points per game. Their defense has been sound during that stretch, but as a touchdown favorite on the road, I don’t like their chances of covering in this specific situation.

A strong home field and stellar defense equals underdog value, and that’s the direction I’m headed when making one of my college football picks this week.

Missouri vs. Vanderbilt 4:00 PM ET
Missouri’s is averaging a pathetic 11.0 points and 265.6 yards per game over their last five contests. Granted they’ve been excellent defensively, but that kind of offensive futility doesn’t bode well for any road favorite.

Vanderbilt’s offense has been plagued by turnovers this season, but they’ve been able to consistently move the ball, and that’s evidenced by their 400 total yards per game average. The Commodores defense has been solid thus far in 2015, allowing just an average of 18.5 points per game.

Washington State vs. Arizona 4:00 PM ET
Washington State is 4-1 in their last five games, and their only loss in that sequence came at nationally ranked California 30-24. They led that contest for a majority of time. California had to score a late fourth quarter touchdown to avert an upset as a 16.5 point home favorite. The Cougars have one of the most prolific passing attacks in college football this season, averaging 398 yards per game in the air.

Arizona has given up their fair share of passing yards this year, and has done so against less potent aerial attacks than they’ll see on Sunday. The Wildcats defense is allowing 30.6 points and 425.9 yards per game.

This has all the earmarks of a game that goes right down to the wire.
