With 1 loss already attached to their resume, Ole Miss find themselves in a very tough spot as they face the best team in the nation. Will Alabama crush? Our  handicapper provides his college football pick.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs Ole Miss Rebels
Kickoff is set for Saturday, September 17th, at 3:30 p.m. EST at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field in Oxford Mississippi. According to 5Dimes Sportsbook, where you can find a sweet 50% Free Play Bonus,  Alabama is a 10 1/2 point road favorite and the betting total for the game is listed at 54 1/2 .The college football odds appear "dead on" as Ole Miss is the team that need's to prove something after a loss to Florida State this season.

Roll Tide Roll?
Head coach, Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide have based much of their success on a top-rate defense, a superb running game, and a quarterback who makes wise decisions with talented receivers.

This season is no different as a freshman, Jalen Hurts, has fit right into the role of quarterback and navigated this team to two consecutive wins, including an opening season thrashing of the #20 USC Trojans. While the defense is the backbone of this team, Hurts has been able to connect with reliable and experienced receivers in ArDarius Stewart and Calvin Ridley. Ridley was the 1000 yard receiver last season, but Stewart has been quite effective in his ability to make the big play. It's enabled him to lead the team with 9 receptions for 203 yards and 3 TD. Let's also not forget about Ridley, who will be targeted quite often this week as he already has 11 receptions for 138 yards and 1 TD. Getting acclimated to a new quarterback takes time, but this receiving core has done a fine job and this game will be yet another test for Jalen Hurts as he has elite receivers to throw the football to.

Of course, a team needs a good ground game to establish dominance and sophomore, Damien Harris, has cemented his spot as the main running back on the Tide. Harris has yet to see the end zone, but has 183 yards on just 20 carries (9.2 yards per carry). He will also be a key component in Alabama having success because a freshman quarterback will make mistakes. Look for this to be Alabama's toughest test and this could be a tight game on the road.

Chad Kelly
In the case of Ole Miss, they have a reliable starting quarterback in senior, Chad Kelly. Kelly finally got his opportunity last season and with the help of Laquon Treadwell, was able to throw for over 4000 yards. This season will be a bit more difficult for Kelly (532 yards, 7 TD, 3 INT) as there's no receiver the caliber of Treadwell to throw the football to.

Six different receivers have caught TD passes this season in the first two games for the Rebels and senior, Evan Engram has taken advantage of his opportunity as the lead receiver. Thus far, Engram has 11 receptions for 164 yards and 1 TD. Engram played especially well against Florida State in which he caught 9 balls for 121 yards and 1 TD. This means that he can play well against elite teams and this week he is going up against the best and this will be a major challenge for the Ole Miss offense.

Experience at the Key Positions
This is a huge factor as the Rebels have the experience and another facet to their offense is the running game. Senior, Akeem Judd, will look to prove himself in the final season of his collegiate career after running for over 400 yards last season. This season, Judd has seen more touches and taken advantage of it. He has 19 carries for 108 and 1 TD. His play could be the key to the game as Alabama's run defense is awfully stingy.

While the experience factor scares me a bit, Alabama is still the far superior football team and the bettor must Side with the Tide in this game. That is always a safe College football pick.
