Sportsbooks Review – Situation Conference Games of the Week

AAC – Those betting against the college football odds moved Cincinnati from -11 to -9 and we understand Connecticut has been a solid home underdog. Just not sure with the Bearcats fire power the Huskies can keep up and we preferred the original number like we have.

ACC – Duke played their worst game of the season last week in loss to Virginia Tech. We are certain the Blue Devils bounce back and nail North Carolina by more than the spread. We have Duke by 11.

Big 12 – West Virginia has put together a fine turnaround campaign and deserves to be favored by the sportsbooks at home on Thursday. However, we are big coach Bill Snyder fans and prefer their 11-3 ATS record against winning teams and ride our number which has K-State by 1.

Big Ten – Wisconsin was ultra-impressive over Nebraska, however, being a 9.5-point road favorite feels too rich for our blood and we are more comfortable with our spread of 4.5.

C-USA – Old Dominion can score, yet this is a very good Louisiana Tech team that appears on a collision course with Marshall and we have no problem backing -15 compared to the oddsmakers at -12.

Independents – At this point, Louisville is better than Notre Dame, coming off a bye and we have this contest at a Pick.

MAC – Though Ball State has not played poorly the past couple of weeks, they should pound Eastern Michigan and we’ll back the four-point separation we have (-17 to -21) in this contest as the Cardinals cruise to victory.

MWC – Air Force has not always played well at San Diego State, nonetheless, we think they are the superior team and we have the Falcons at -3.

Pac-12 – We have quite a few differences in the Pac-12 with the sportsbooks. The one most people would be interested in is USC and UCLA. We have the Bruins at -1 compared to -3.5 and with the Trojans seeking revenge from last season; this could be a very tight tilt.

SEC – Tennessee has really been coming on the second half of the season and is 4-1 ATS. They can ruin the plans of Missouri to repeat as SEC East champions, but our numbers have the Tigers as favorites and like any college football handicapper, we love Mizzou is 9-0 ATS on the road.

Sun Belt – Appalachian State has been on a roll of late, but they have not been to Lafayette to take on Louisiana. We understand the odds makers have shortened the number and for good reason, yet the Ragin’ Cajuns are better on both sides of the ball and win by 15, like we are calling for our college football pick.
