We look at the biggest college football line moves over the week. There's always a lot of jostling off the opening line as the sportsbooks look for the right number for their college football odds.
135 Tulsa/136 Tulane- Tulsa opened -6, went up to -6.5 and -7, some wiseguy play came back on Tulane to bing the number back to -6. After that it has been all Tulsa money. Wiseguys have not doubled up. Tulsa up to -8.
143 Baylor/144 TCU- TCU opened -2, but apparently the smart money is behind the Baylor injury to situation to play out more favorable than that of TCU. Baylor has had a steady flow of money, taking them up to -1.5 or -2. The latest is TCU QB Boykin is a game time decision, but Baylor is definitely down to its 3rd stringer, Chris Johnson.
145 Ohio State/146 Michigan- Michigan opened -1, went up to -2, then the money switched to Ohio State. The Buckeyes now at -1.
149 Louisville/150 Kentucky- Louisville opened -4, but all the sharp money has been on the favorite. Louisville up to -5.5 and -6.
151 Penn State/152 Michigan State- Michigan State opened -11, Wiseguys took Penn State in what should be a low scoring game. Mich State now -10.5.
153 Cincinnati/154 East Carolina- Cincy opened -1, but all the sharp money has come on ECU, who is now anywhere from -1 to -2.
155 Connecticut/156 Temple- Temple opened -12, the public pushed it up to -13 with their college football picks. No real wiseguy money opposing it.
167 Vanderbilt/168 Tennessee- Tennessee opened -16.5, Now up to -17.5 on sharp money.
171 UNLV/172 Wyoming- UNLV opened -3 yesterday on reports QB Blake Decker would play in this game. Since then, sharp money has come in on Wyoming. UNLV now -1.5 and -2.
179 Va Tech/180 Virginia- Va Tech opened -4, sharp money for Virginia. Va Tech now down to -3 or -3.5.
181 North Carolina/182 NC State- North Carolina opened -7. Wiseguys have come in on the dog. UNC now at -5 or -5.5 on the college football odds board.
185 Maryland/186 Rutgers- Maryland opened -1, but Rutgers money showed after it was announced Rutgers start WR Leonte Carroo would be in the line up. Rutgers now -1 or -1.5.
187 Florida State/188 Florida- Florida opened pick. Tons of injuries on Florida, including 4 defensive linemen. FSU now up to -2.5
189 Georgia/190 Georgia Tech- Georgia opened -6, but money has shown on Ga Tech in what many think is Mark Richt’s last game as Georgia head coach.
197 Alabama/198 Auburn- Bama opened -13, sharps and public alike are on the favorite. Bama up to -14.5 now.
217 Notre Dame/218 Stanford- Stanford opened -3.5, went up to -4. Some sharp money came back on Notre Dame. Stanford now -3.5.
