Virginia Tech has been terrible over the last two weeks. The Hokies havee scored 10 points in each game while allowing a total of 74. The Panthers’ defense hasn’t been incredible by any means this season, but it is better than those which the Hokies have faced lately.

The Under cashed in all five Virginia Tech games this season. Some might argue that’s because of the Hokies’ strong defense, but it’s really because of their lifeless offense. In Week 1, they lost 20-17 to Old Dominion, then they held their next two opponents to a combined 17 points. The only problem is those two opponents were Boston College and Wofford.
The Over is 4-1 in Panthers’ games this year, and as the better team due for a bounce back, Pittsburgh may be able to hit this told by itself. If the Hokies are able to keep this close, it won’t be because their defense stopped the Panthers, it will be because the Panthers’ defense has problems stopping opponents from scoring.
